Joico Moisture Recovery Conditioner 250 ml

I have been using this conditioner forever! It is perfect for people with long and or dry hair. My hair feels soft and healthy after every use. This product also lasts forever as a little bit goes a long way. The smell is very nice and leaves your hair smelling clean and feminine. For me, this is a must have!

I have thin and dry hair due to highlights. I started using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair was lined up, soft and frizz-free. And it's been a while since I've been using other even more expensive brands and they haven't had this effect. shampoo and conditioner concentrated, super hydrating, with a pleasant smell and appearance.

I'm very impressed with this shampoo. I have a lot of hair, but it's fine and long so shampooing isn't always a smooth process. Typically when I use shampoos, my hair gets very tangled in the shower. Prior to JOICO, I used Biolage, Wella, and other comparable brands. With JOICO Recovery Shampoo I'm happy with how rich the lather is while keeping my hair mostly tangle-free. I'm not sure how, but it manages to leave my hair feeling super clean, yet very moisturized. Other brands have left my hair feeling clean, but squeaky clean in an abrasive way. I also don't have to use much because it's highly concentrated. I think the smell is pretty good- nothing super amazing or bad. I saw some complaints about the smell being too strong. Final thoughts- I love this shampoo and for this price range, it's the best I've used.

smell so good and this hydrates my hair. Now, this shampoo is a great salon brand if you want to put moisture in your hair. I got that Burlington for about $8 but this retail for about $18-20 depending on where you purchase it. I love how you only need a little bit and Lather well. Not bad for the price and it's my 2nd staple. I always alternate with my other shampoo at least once a month to bring moister back in my curly hair. 

Beyond Amazing!!

I started using this shampoo and conditioner because my boyfriends sister recommended it. Let me tell you the first time I used it, it felt like I was at a salon the smell, the feel, everything. It makes your hair feel so soft. My old shampoos and conditioners would leave soap build up all over my scalp but this one doesn't leave anything. I love it and I don't use anything else. I highly recommend for people who like to straighten their hair or use heat on their hair in general. It really helps repair your hair from the heat damage. Go buy a bottle it's great!!

HORRIBLE!!!

joico moisture recovery conditioner totally dried my hair out too look like straw. Joico was bought buy another company and changed the formula. My hair felt like straw afterwards, looked like straw and weighed my hair down. I will never buy joico again. I dont understand the good reviews. I'm definitelly returning. Dont waste your money

Hair has never felt so soft

I was a little apprehensive about buying this because I heard mixed reviews. I am so glad I got this along with the shampoo. My hair is so soft and shiny. I straightened my natural hair and it is absolutely gorgeous. My hair texture is a 3a/3b. Will continue to purchase this

Results after first use

I used this conditioner along with the damage defense shampoo and my hair felt incredible even while still wet. With the products I was using before (drugstore), my hair felt dry and stringy needing a ton of additional products afterwards to bring it back to life, some people would say DUUHHH lol. I have previously color treated hair that is mostly grown out so my hair is fairly healthy and shiny although coarse and frizzy if i'm not careful. I no longer need a leave-in conditioner, only thermal defense. Yay!

Silicone city

I used to use Joico 6 years ago and loved it. My hair was healthy, soft, and so long. Not sure why but there is so much dimethicone put in this now that I can feel the silicones as soon as I put it on my hair and when putting it in my hair. The silicones actually coat my hands that's how much they put in this. I'm normally okay with products having silicones but this is excessive. Definitely will not purchase again and will be going back to my milkshakes shampoo and conditioner.

The reformulation is garbage. DO NOT BUY!!

I used Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner for YEARS loyally and recommended it to so many people. When I found out the formula was being changed I stocked up on all the 1L bottles I could find before the change. Well, I finally ran out. I am legitimately shocked at how terrible the new conditioner is. The old formula was already very thick, but it worked really well for my low porosity, high density, fine, 2C/3A hair--minimal frizz, great conditioning, and really good wave/curl formation. As someone who only detangles/combs in the shower the old formula had AMAZING slip. Well, everything great about the old formula is gone and the new formula is terrible. From the texture and changes my assumption is that the conditioner was reformulated with more/different protein and for all of the people with low porosity hair who previously loved the conditioner it is now a nightmare with too much protein. The product is now more like the K-Pak line, which I truly don't understand having 2 ultra thick high protein similar products. I really can't believe this product was tested with consumers and anyone liked this better than the old formula. Well, Joico has lost a loyal customer of many years. If you go to the Joico website all of the new reviews are terrible for this product. Joico is now blocking people from leaving bad reviews for it.
