My 7 month old son loves his jolly jumper. He really loves the added silly sound affects or musical instruments under his feet. Heās recognized the connection between him jumpy and creating sounds. He will literally jump for 45 mins plus. The other reviews are correct though, it has no grip on the bottom so it does slide around a fair bit. I just tend to scoot it back over with my foot whenever I walk by.

My son got this for Christmas (he was 6 months) and he loves it. His leg strength quickly grew even though I forgot to let him use it daily. He has a good time and can stay in it for 10minutes-an hour at times which is a lifesaver because I was working part time at home at that point! One thing I will say is trying to put him in the jumper when no one is home is NOT easy. But another plus is that everything we had for my son never fit him correctly even when adjustable. He has a growth restriction and is still (maybe) in the 1st percentile and we could make it fit safely the day we got it and for a long time coming, Definitely worth it's money!

Since the day we brought home the Jolly Jumper and the Jolly Jumper musical play mat our kids have absolutely loved it! Both our son and daughter are obsessed with their Jolly Jumper. If I had to be critical about a single thing it would be that it would be nice if there were some kind of grip on the bottom of the mat to help on hardwood flooring. Our twins really like to get jumping and unfortunately the more excited they get the more the mat tends to slide around underneath them and we have to constantly adjust it, but otherwise it is a great tool to help with getting them introduced to their Jolly Jumper. We love that there are different sounds and settings we can use to keep them engaged.

I LOVE this thing! My son was absolutely thrilled when he got to jump in it for the first time! The joy on his face when he figured out he could bounce was priceless! Itās also super convenient to not have a doorway jumper- I donāt have doorways in my living room other than the front door so that obviously wouldnāt be an option. Our son grew out of it, but we have it in storage for our next baby. Itās awesome! Not a great picture but it shows you the scale of how big it isā¦compared to a person and a dog š
My baby absolutely loves this thing. Heāll bounce for as long as we let him and it really tires him out. Put some music on and he has the time of his life in there! So hilarious to watch. The stand does take up quite a bit of room when set up, but it folds easily for storage. A bit awkward to carry around (we store ours downstairs) but not so bad. Itās a little difficult to strap baby into seat by yourself so I recommend having two people to set them up. Overall great product though.
My baby loved this the moment we put her in. Our friends babies love it as well when they visit. It is very sturdy and feels secure... this is why we opted for this more expensive option. It was easy to assemble and comes in very few parts. However, getting baby in and out is difficult because they have to go through the top of the harness. Itās also a bit difficult to get them out. But I think it needed to be like this for safety. The only thing I donāt like about this is that it takes up sooooo much room. You really need quite a bit of space for this. You cannot tuck it away because itās very tall and you wonāt want to take it apart. I love seeing my baby bounce in this but realistically how many minutes is she in this a day? I am a mom of three kids and this is my first experience using a Jolly Jumper. However, I truly wish I had known about this awesome contraption with my two oldest kids. This jumper is AMAZING. I thought this would not keep my three month old entertained without any activity features to it (like buttons to push or musical enhancements). But I was absolutely wrong, my little one is truly a ājolly jumperā in this thing. Not only is it entertaining for my little, but Iām entertained watching him in it. I have nothing but positive things to say, and I highly recommend parents purchase this instead of any other bouncer or exersaucer.
This Jolly Jumper is simply the best jumper a baby under 1 can have. It holds them upright as though they are "big" and the spring is flexible enough to give a lot of joy, but substantial enough to be safe. Within 5 min of first jumping, our baby was seriously learning to twirl and jump and screeching in joy. Truth. The condition of this jumper was perfect. Like new. I washed it anyway, and only saw a little of the cloth color bleed out, but no dirt.
I'm the Father of a 4 month old (65cm / 7.5kg). I wanted to buy a baby jumper (allows baby to jump, rotate) since she's mostly on her back unless she's bouncing on my lap or being carried around. She prefers to be upright, and only tolerates a minute or so on her tummy. I spent half a day researching the "top ~10 baby jumpers" and comparing features and prices. I was almost convinced to buy a non-doorway baby jumper (i.e. an activity centre that allows them to jump and rotate and comes with musical toys all around them for them to play too), but it was at least twice the price of what I paid for the Jolly Jumper at Target even when i found them on discount, and you need 1 sq/m to store it all the time in the home, and it's not practical to take away or overseas. I already have a baby walker so if i got an activity centre i wouldn't care if it didn't have wheels. Also, I've observed baby's often being given and being surrounded with too many toys at the same time, so they don't learn to fully appreciate each one, so I think it's important to initially just given them simple things, to allow them to "focus" their growth and to learn to master specific skills, but without overwhelming them with too many options all at once, which makes them tired and confused. I'm pleased with the Jolly Jumper purchase. It was so easy to setup I figured it out just looking at the picture on the packaging (instructions were inside too). It should keep her entertained for 1-2 years (since it's max. weight capacity is ~15kg), and then when she's ready for it I'll get her a trampoline. There aren't many parts and it's very light so you could easily fit it in even a small backpack and take it with you anywhere (i.e. to a park and hang it from a tree or to a family members house). It allows her to explore different options like trying to stand vertically with a good posture, to try standing on her toes, to try bouncing by herself, and it's refreshing to see her in control (amount of pressure if any, and whether to alternate between legs to try walking, or to just hang and have a break and look and casually spin around). I've only had my baby in this Jolly Jumper once so far, but I'm always on the lookout for potential hazards, and mitigating them before they happen. So some things I'd do to make it a safer environment include: - Wrapping some padding on each side of the doorway (just incase they get too adventurous and they head-butt it). i.e. fold up two towels so they are about 2.5cm thick, and wrap them on each side of the door where the baby's head would end up if they were to swing too - Wrap the hangers in a softer material to protect their eyes from knocking into the edge of the the hanger (i.e. just get a couple of your socks and wrap them around) It was also pleasing to discover that this Jolly Jumper has been around for a long time (1965), and it was nice that it included a report from medical professionals inside I'm actually surprised that the government doesn't suggest this to every new parent in the baby kit they send out.
My son loves jumping in his jolly jumper. Itās also a good way to get some movement/exercise. The quality is good and the whole frame isnāt too bulky. The legs are very wide so make sure to place it where you donāt trip over it. The whole structure is light weight for you to move it using one hand. My son is also on the taller side for his age and this was the best jumper to accommodate for his height compared to the activity centre type of jumpers.
