My dream day is tons of powder, weaving through trees with wind lips and side hits for days. I ride the whole mountain and love speed with a freestyle flair. I honestly had this board at the top of my list to check out as a board I potentially might want to buy. I rode the 149cm and I am 5'7" / 130lb, and it was a great size for me. I love Jones as a brand and really love some of their other boards. I have to say I didn't love this board as much as I hoped to. It felt a little 'generic' in a way. It reminded me of the Burton Feelgood. It rides like a classic in that it does everything well, it carves, it has good edge hold, it maintains speed, it can hit jumps, but nothing really stood out to me about it. The twin sister was super fun & stable carving on the groomers & was a blast to ride switch, but there was something about it that didn’t have the sparkle in previous Jones boards that I have rode before. I would highly suggest this board to an advanced rider who loves tree runs & riding switch. I could see it not being ideal to ride on a pow day, but more so the board you want to grab on those blue bird groomer days!

This review is based off two full days riding the board on beginning of the season conditions aka "fast snow" aka "ice" in the North East. I also normally ride a 154 or 156 but the sizing stopped at 152 and may be why I feel it's not a really fast board (in retrospect I should have purchased the mens 154). Great carving, holds really well on ice, amazingly responsive and is a very playful board. Very stable straight lining at speed. Graphics are perfect paired with my 2013 Absolute premium bindings. This is my first Jones board coming from the Salomon Ivy/ Burton Fortress and I don't see a difference in quality yet. The edges are still clean and the base shows no alarming difference in wear. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the lack of speed.

I couldn’t be more happier with the product and process that Moose Jaw delivers. From the beginning through the order and after everything goes smooth. In the past I’ve had to return items and that was awesome as well. Would recommend Moose Jaw over and over again. Thanks for supporting hobbies.
I was riding a Lib Tech Trice 156 as my go to board. I heard really good things about this board and decided to give it a shot. I down graded in size quite a bit to a 149 but I wanted this board to be my quiver and felt that my Trice may be just a little too big for those groomer days. (kept the burton cartel bindings tho) Turns out I love this board. It turns on a dime, super easy to maneuver in the pow, floats well and holds an edge well when transiting from sketchy ice crusted sierra cement to true pow. Only complaint is the modified magine traction. Guess I am just use to the full magine traction that was on my Trice and hopefully I will adjust but it just does not hold an edge as tightly in true ice. This board is super fast and stable at high speeds. No one ... MoreI was riding a Lib Tech Trice 156 as my go to board. I heard really good things about this board and decided to give it a shot. This board is super fast and stable at high speeds. No one can catch me, and its awesome. The tip seems to ding and chip a little easier than other boards I have ridden, had to do some extensive Ptex work on the tip to keep it sealed as I was kind of worried about past delam issues that Jones has had. But I have not seen any signs of this after the repair. The base repairs well, found a couple rocks in the trees and luckily escaped without a core shot. But over all super solid board, i'm very happy with my purchase and would make it again in a heart beat. Jones truly stepped up to the plate this year and fixed the quality control issues he had in the past.
Hello i receive the snow board and it was not the right color as show in the picture im still waiting for a responce from the entrepot! Under the board was supose to be turquoise ans it came in black im verry dissapointed because it was for my girls friend chrismass girft and i find the board now feal more masculin in black i already send picture to you guys and still waiting for response
i demoed this board for 3 days through various conditions (crud, fresh powder and some icy patches) and this board holds well for all the conditions above. I would consider myself as an intermediate rider and this board is perfect for me. The edges holds well and it flows amazingly on powder . I am 5"2 , 110 lbs and I got the 146 cm board. Using it as an all mnt board .... hopefully it will take my riding to the next level!
I was hesitating between the weaver and this one twin sister. I'm a beginner snowboarder but after watching the video on Jones site I chose this one going a litttle bit more on the intermadiate side. Love feel of it. Mount it as a true twin for this beginning season. It's fun to ride.
the jones twin sister is cool board with an all round board feel nice on the nice. good slashing tight turning in tight spots. can easily carve at speed but she did not like sheet ice but who does. went good on the shavings. I'm inter + and really liked her when you got her going at speed felt safe and good control. I'm 5.4 60 kg rode a 143 enjoy. just off hill.
I've been riding an all mountain freestyle board for the last 4 years which is great on hard packed groomers, but grippy and slow on powder. After researching different brands and reading a ton of reviews online, I decided to get this board. So different from my last board. Fast on groomers, quick edge to edge carving, and it floats on powder! It even keeps moving on flat cat tracks! I can't wait to to explore more with the Twin Sister. I think it will take my riding to the next level.
