As usual Joolca has an amazing product and Service, my V1 Pump broke down on boxing day, I had an instant reply to my email with trouble shooting tips, worked out I needed a new pump. Ordered and received one within 2 days. Amazing customer service.Thank you Joolca absolutely love the Products. I have a V1 setup and when I have the money will be looking to buy the complete v2 setup when I can afford it

If you did like me and bought the essential hottap kit then you will immediately realise you need this extra kit. Without this the main unit can only be used on a pressured water supply so if you go off grid you need this pump etc.All works well and the pump is strong enough to run the hottap easily. Two criticisms - on the box it shows a tent, this kit will not work without a 12v supply which all tents don't have. Also it states on the box about it can push water 30m but you then are disappointed when you look inside and have a 1.8m hose and would need to buy the 30m one.

First time using the off grid pump kit, the filter attachment came off when submerged in the water. The filter attachment was checked to ensure it was connected properly before slowly submerging. Have previously contacted Joolca to rectify this issue but still waìting for a reply. Would like to organise a replacement filter attachment that is not faulty without having to purchase the whole kit again. Not being to call and talk to someone directly makes it very difficult to resolve problems.

The pump seems to work very well. When snapping on the hose fittings I noticed it took a good bid of force to make sure that they where in all the way. Once you hear a snap sound fitting is in firmly otherwise it is loose and lwill leak. I also notice that while pushing in the fitting give it a slight twist to help it connect better. It maybe that it is just very new and overtime the fitting will connect easier.The pump is perfect, long 12volt cord and just enough hose to get the job done.
We used the Hot Tap with off grid pump for the first time in the last week of school holidays. It was a huge success being able to shower each day without the need to heat water over the fire. The 3 way hose fitting was great Via a trigger nozzle when we wanted hot water for the dishes. The only thing I had to contend with was securing the shower rose inside our shower tent. A fork stick and duck tape did the trick.The system is a camping game changer and we can’t wait to use it again.Keith and Val Thomson
Single, older gal who decided to live off the grid for the first time and Joolca made it so easy! Even though I'm not way out in the wilderness, I'm on 15 acres with no conventional utilities. I have a nice, cold, constantly running little creek that supplies me with all the water I could possibly want for showers and dishes, even laundry. I get bottled for drinking just in case. So I have 2 - yes TWO Joolca kits. One at one end of the cabin I built for the shower and bathroom sink and one at the other end of the cabin for the kitchen. Off-grid at it's best!
A robust and attractive kit that works, and works well. So useful in off grid situations, where a hot shower may normally be difficult to organise. Just throw the filter in a billabong etc, connect up and hey presto. Cleanliness and very happy campers. Campers who engage in strenuous outdoor activities are now happy to sit near each other at night. No more ' pongo in the Congo'
I bought this entire system heater en-suite tent and pump spending as you all know a hefty sum. When the shower shows up I followed the instructions couldn’t be happier with it attached to a garden hose. Later the same day the pump arrives. Sweet more testing. I open the box that looks like it’s been to iran and back. The pump and everything in the box is dirty and water is in everything. I pulled the rubber stops out of the pump and got water all over my hardwood floors. The pick up tube has sediment in the filter screen. My advice to Joolca1. Get a phone number so you can make this right it or answer your chat app.2. After having issues with water flow, I turned the shower handle right side up and that solved the problem. Today I finally had time to put entire system together and take a shower. The pump and shower system worked fine. I was stressed during shower that the water was 74 degrees ... same temp as the outdoors. It was when I shut the water off that I realized that I'd neglect to open the gas valve....bittersweet moment. I haven't used the faucet yet, but expect it to function fine.
I purchased the pump separate from the Essentials Kit. It arrived in a timely manner and it works great. I would note that when plugged into my vehicle's 12 volt plug and the vehicle was not running, the heater would not ignite until I turned the water flow down to approximately 1/3. I contacted support who advised some vehicles do not produce power to the 12 volt system until the vehicle is running. I started the vehicle and tested again, the heater ignited at all levels of water flow. Support was quick to respond.
