A good indoor court shoe that breaks in quickly

My 10 year old just joined a youth basketball sports clinic. Luckily, they have open court times so that the parents can shoot around or work on their handlesI had a pair of Nike Hype II's from years ago that I used when I played with the boys and my son almost did an ankle breaker on me when I was working on some skills with him before his class. I knew then that I needed some new kicks just did the court.I wanted some Jordans or Harden 8's. The Hardens weren't out yet so I went with a pair that looked different but had good reviews.I decided on these Why Not 6's because 1) I like Westbrook and five props to him for what he brings to the Clips every game, 2) I wanted something different than the typical Jordan's and 3) they were still Jordan's.They're light ... MoreMy 10 year old just joined a youth basketball sports clinic. The zipper is more of a gimmick, but it does bring the upper snuggly around your foot. The sole has good traction with multiple tread patterns and the shoe broke in after almost 30 minutes of medium game play.I had more than one kid and coach ask me what type of shoe I had. It stood out from the typical Jordan's and Adidas and I personally liked the look and feel.I'm using this as a dedicated court shoe and will still get some Harden 8's for my other pair. Once I get those, I'll update this review and let you know if these Wht Not's can keep up after a few weeks of court work.

This is the best basketball shoe I’ve ever owned. I pretty much collect basketball shoes but only because i couldn’t find the perfect pair. This is the perfect pair. Very comfortable, tons of grip, and super flashy.

Purchased online and chosen purely on style and colours. Always can be a gamble when it comes to comfort and fit if it's not a pair of shoes you already have. These were not 100% perfect but close enough to it to be a good choice. I didn't mind the zips for something different and still like the look of them but they seem like something that could break over time possibly sooner rather than later even if you take care of your shoes.

Looks very different

I bought these for my grandson for basketball. After he got them, he didn't like them as much. They are a bit difficult for him to put on and tie. Maybe too much style for a 14yr old in a heated game. We are returning to find a little more practical (for him) but they pretty awesome.

I bought these for my 14 year old grandson. He was ecstatic when he opened them. When he wore them for his first tournament he absolutely loved them. He said they were light in his feet, but have him good stability and good traction. They were comfortable and he felt very little fatigue.

No made like they use to.

Probably one of the what Jordan shoes ever purchased. The quality of the shoe has definitely declined. The zipper has already separated itself. The shoe materiel on the outside has cracked. What is more disappointing, I have not even had these shoes for a month. Well definitely have to reconsider buying a Jordan shoe again.

Review before Purchase

Very happy with the Unique and varied selection from the Crew at Culture Kings. However the Nike's ran large. Extremely long in the toe, enough so that you could could very easily wear a size, possibly size and a half smaller. The Kings made the change over run smoothly without any major issues.Sizing recommendations would be helpful, as to would be an internal store credit facility so as the customer didn't have to pay twice until original item physically returned and replacement issued.

If you can get these at a discount, they are an absolute bang for your buck. The fit is comfortable, especially for people with slightly wider feet. The bold design and colours are definitely love it or hate it, but luckily, there are other, more toned-down colorways of this shoe.

SOO COMFY.
12 May 2023

These shoes are SO comfortable. I bought them because I liked the look and thought these would be dailies. Put them on and immediately changed my mind and wanted to see what they were like to play in. Shoes are so comfortable, bouncy, and have great support. The caging system takes a bit of time to get right so you feel secure, but once you do, definitely loving the shoes so far. Run a bit big (IMO), but I used aftermarket insoles which made them feel right.

Great color scheme & great conditioning shoes! These are my 3rd pairs of this style. I use them for basketball conditioning and they are fantastic & light. It makes sense they would be fashioned after Russell Westbrook’s style of basketball.
