I bought these boots some months ago but have only worn them a couple of times until today because I felt they weren't that comfortable. I bought a size 6, my regular size, but my toes pressed against the end of the boot. As they were still fairly new and the leather was stiff I was hoping they would 'settle in'.However going out in the rain today has proved that they are not waterproof. The rain leaked in around the laces leaving me with wet socks!!. Having previously had a pair of Josef Siebel boots, which I was very happy with, it is disappointing to have spent so much and not got what I wanted

The boots are comfortable, look nice but most of all are waterproof. I have found it difficult to find footwear for dog walking in wet grass. I don’t need big cumbersome hiking boots for the park but continually getting wet feet is annoying. So far the boots fit the bill perfectly.

Looking for a pair of ankle boots for work I came across these. Wasn't initially what I was thinking of yet decided to try them on. Wow I'm glad I did. They fit beautifully, fur lining to keep feet cosy, not too thick, so your feet don't feel cramped in your socks. They are waterproof, an added benefit for me as I walk in all weathers. I've worn them everyday, no rubbing of heels/toes.I bought the blue pair, they go well with black leggings as well as jeans. So glad I decided to try them on.

My favourite footwear. I have bought four pairs of these boots in the past couple of years, and they are comfortable and the sizes are always reliable so that I can buy online if I need to. Being waterproof is a great advantage, and they stay looking good for a long time. After about a year, however, they do stop being waterproof, and the soles on earliest pair I bought, split. When I complained about this, I was told that 'they looked worn', which was pretty much the point of having decent shoes, I thought. They aren't exactly cheap, and it is disappointing that they 'fail' before they are actually worn out. So far, I haven't found a really good alternative, so I guess I have to be prepared to put up with the long term quality disappointment.
I purchased these for everyday use thinking that they were a supple trainer type boot as I have Plantar Fasciitis and needed something flattish and comfortable. They felt a bit stiff to start off with but I decided to keep them and try to bed them in but after a few wears, I have found that the boots are too hard to wear all day and cause my heel to throb. Not the fault of the boot - they are good strong sturdy boots but not for wearing all day by me. NB. I had the Joseph Siebel Sienna boots before these and they were so comfortable - so much so, I wore them out completely and unfortunately, the new style is not quite the same hence I chose these.
Lovely shoes and wanted so much but unfortunately the wrong pair sent. Quick delivery. However customner service was excellent . It would have made sense if shoes were checked prior to sending out. Disappointed so took away 1 star. Would be happy to buy again from the company.
Extremely comfortable and good-looking boots. I especially love the style, soft faux-fur lining, cognac brown colour and the fact they’re waterproof. I have a wide foot and high arches so usually struggle to find shoes or boots that tick all the boxes but these boots certainly do so. I considered going up a size because they were fur-lined but in the end I got my normal size 6 and they fit really well with ordinary socks. Wholeheartedly recommend.
I would have given 5 *** but as the boots came up too small for me n my usual size I had to send them back and exchange for a size up. Unfortunately returns aren’t free which was a shame as I felt the boots come up smaller than they should . Prompt exchange though AND this time perfect fit. Just as well - I would not have been happy having to pay for another return. Considering the price of the boots I think returns should be free!
Joseph Seibel are the only shoes that I can wear non stop from the first time of putting them on. I needed new boots for dog walking so thought I would try these. I could not believe it, yet again from trying them on for the first time the fit was perfect and I wore them the whole day in complete comfort! They're not clumpy, look slim and are a great summertime walking boot. Ideal for when there's early morning dew on the grass, or hot days when it's good to have a lighter weight boot. They just wipe clean with a damp rag.
Bought these to replace my last pair of Joseph Seibel boots which I'd worn nearly every day for the last 3 years....I have a 15min walk to work and do a lot of walking on the country lanes and riverbanks in my village. They were the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and these are just the same. An updated version of my last pair in the same gorgeous blue colour. I recommend them to everyone who wants a pair of good shoes. Yes, you can buy cheaper but the quality of these is often only seen on shoes over £100. Really warm in the winter but breathable in the summer. As you can probably guess....I love them!!
