Twin brothers Antony and Richard Joseph grew up with design and manufacturing in their blood, spending time working in the family glass-making business. Having both trained in product design, they were embarking on their early years when their father asked them to look at reinventing one of the company’s products – a traditional glass chopping board. They both jumped at the chance and were soon developing a small range of creative designs which were proving much more popular than the originals. But what appealed to them most about the product was its functional, hygienic nature and this ignited in them a passion to design other functional kitchenware products. So, in 2003, they decided to go it alone and the Joseph Joseph brand was born. Since then Joseph Joseph has become an award-winning housewares brand, internationally recognised for design and innovation.
