Had bought one of these pre-covid and it has been a daily use item and looks barely used. Had an oops moment and did not realise it was on the stove top when I turned on the wrong burner. It melted a bit before I realised. Ruined the board but it did not leave a mess on the stove top (miracle). So needed to replace my favourite board (RIP). Huge fan of Joseph Joseph brand items as they are high quality and extremely useful in the kitchen so it was a no brainer to get same again. This is my workhorse veggie board that never lets me down. Does not blunt knives like some boards can and the folding feature is just perfect for avoiding the inevitable picking up round a hot pot on the stove when adding items during cooking. Brilliant price of kitchen equipment. No more mess when putting chopped vegetables into soup or casseroles etc. my daughter bought me one years ago and I use it every day. I purchased this one for my cousin who is a retired chef and she is delighted with it. Would recommend it to anyone.

Secondly, I purchased a Large cutting board which was advertised as being 19”L x 10 3/4”W x 1/2”D and RECEIVED a MINI which measured 12.50L x 6.75”W x 1/2”D! Thirdly, beyond the shock at the size of the bogus product, I immediately knew it was not a Joseph Joseph without looking for the stamp because of the shoddiness of the material! I have had two of these boards, in different sizes and white, for years and used them almost every day until they both wore out along the "hinges". They hung up in my cream-coloured kitchen, ready for instant use, The design is superb and I could not wait to replace them. I was however very disappointed not to find them in white, nor cream, on any website. From the horribly garish colours on offer I finally chose "blue" which to my relief turned out to be more of a pearl grey
Wife and Mother in Law have been wanted one of these for a while. Luckily these came in a two pack so I knocked out two Christmas gifts in one! The website has a bunch of great deals. I like this quite a lot. Innovative idea and very practical. My only minor complaint, as a senior citizen, is that it’s a little bit too large for an older cook. That said, I’ve used it several times in the last week and I would definitely recommend it. I wish there were a second, more compact size for my age group.
I have had one of these boards for many years; slightly smaller than the current ones and not quite as thick. The handle broke years ago but the folding mechanism continued to function. Finally time for a replacement.The new boards - I bought one of each size- are larger, thicker and slightly heavier than the old one so I hope they will last for a long time. To fold the sides up takes a bit more pressure but it's really good for guiding chopped food into the pan.
Great for small otems like chopping tomotoes for lunch.After a while the handle being straight up combined with the flat way the cutting board should sit doesn't work and you have to forch the handle up straight to make the tray flat and keep it that way when cutting.Good for using to fold and tip out juices or food onto a place with out going everywhere.Cutting marks are visable after many uses.Easily cleaned and doesn't hold smells of food on it.
It's very handy that the sides fold up so that you don't lose any ingredients off the sides. The board itself is very textured so it's hard to cut all of the way through very thin items, such as the skin of a spring onion. That's my only criticism. It cleans really well in the dishwasher and doesn't appear to stain easily.
i just bought a replacement for this product after several years of use. This cutting board is great for saving cleanup time when you don't need to use an entire wood block. The folding feature is handy for dropping items directly into a skillet, but it's too wide for quart-sized storage bags (e.g., for grated cheese). Also the marks are visible almost immediately and it doesn't look new for long. Obviously any cutting board will have slicing marks on it, so as long as the superficial flaws don't bother you it will withstand the test of time. It's dishwasher safe as well (top or bottom shelf).
