I purchased these a year ago and have since given them as housewarming gifts. First measure your drawers to ensure a fit with clearance. I have a large set of silver with serving pieces. I got 2 sets and a 12 place setting fits perfect with some serving pieces as well. the larger spoons I set in the side space remaining in the drawer. The knife organizer works well with the Cutco set i have with steak knives. everyone I given these 2 has enjoyed them but measuring is the key.......

I was storing my decent enough knives in usual knife block, but having decided to get 3/4 really good knives, I felt they needed better storage.This is it for me. My drawer is 'council standard', so not big or deep; this fits perfectly, and the knives are organised and protected.

I really like the fact that this fits in my drawer and holds a lot of knives. I have two complaints . . . One, there is nothing in the slots to keep the knives from sliding out when the drawer is opened. This is a problem for the knives on the top shelf. Two, while there are a lot of slots, I wish there were fewer and farther apart. Overall though, it does work well for storing your knives in a drawer
I would, and have, recommended the Compact Knife Organizer. What a game changer! It holds many different sizes, making it easier to use the right knife for the job, without searching through a drawer. It's compact size gives me room to store small cutting boards and the knife sharpener all together in one space.
I originally bought a wooden knife organiser from John Lewis. On opening it at home I noticed it was slightly damaged. I returned it and as there were no others in stock I looked for an alternative. So pleased with the Joseph Compact Knife Organiser. It fits perfectly into my kitchen drawer and accommodates all my knives of various sizes. On reflection I think this is the better buy than the wooden one I had originally purchased as it's more compact and less heavy.
I have just a second of these to give to my grandson who is setting up his first home. I have had my original for 5 years now. It is still going strong. Protects my knives. Fits well in my drawer. Easy to take knives from and return. Simple and effective.
We had an expensive marble knife holder with a kapoosh insert. However, the knives don't slide all the way down. My husband went to lift it, and the knives slid on his hands. I know! I cringe at the thought! After stitches, we bought this little knife organizer, and one for my daughter who had the same knife holder. All blades are safely hidden and downward. Fits in a small place, with room for so much more in the drawer.
This fit in my drawer perfectly and was a great space saver. I was able to fit my entire set that I had in my butcher block. This works best for knives with thinner handles. My set with bulky handles I had to go every other slot which was not as pracical as I ran out of room. Also the top row only works for small paring knives which is fine for me as I have a good amount of those. May work for steak knives but my current ones are very long and didn't work in it. For the price honestly it is totally worth it.
This has to be one of my new favourite kitchen items! Knife blocks are so expensive and this is a fantastic way to neatly and safely store knives. We don’t have a lot of spare bench space so this is a fantastic storage solution. Larger knives are better suited for the lower level 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
