Joseph Joseph Editions Wash & Drain Washing Up Bowl Sky

I love this tub. I got it to do all the handwashing of stuff that cant go in dishwasher, and all my equipment for making my own skincare. I could fit 2 of these side by side in my kitchen sink and still have room. It is a great size and the drain/plug is awesome. Its really sturdy and I like the colour too. I liked it so much i got another one for the laundry.

I love this nifty invention. Before you say, or you can use your double sink, I believe this does much more. It’s small enough to to around your house filled with water which means I can use it as my clean water bucket when mopping. I can use it to entertain my kid as a “doll pool” , but , more importantly, because I live in an area that’s in drought , it allows me to control the amount of water I’m using. I require the visual affect of it in my sink ( bonus points). I fill it in the morning and it becomes my rinse water throughout the day, then just before dinner I refill with hot water for all the soaking to be done. It works and I no longer let the faucet run all day. It might seem silly but it really brings so much more attention to my water usage. Very easy to ... MoreI love this nifty invention. Have been using this product

Have been using this product for years; purchased from Amazon, not directly from the Joseph Jospeh company.Very practical device, do not have a dish washer so am always washing dishes by hand in the kitchen sink. The plastic tub saves on broken/chip dishes in a ceramic sink. The drain in the bottom of the tub is a wonderful addition! And thank you for offering so many colors/ white or black are so boring!

Looks good .... if a little small!

Wanted something more up market than a bog standard washing up bowl for my new kitchen. The colour is great, the quality is fab and I love the addition of its own plug! However, it is rather small and possibly looks a little odd in my large sink. If you have a small sink I would highly recommend. I'm yet to find anything else that is of the same standard but larger.

I had just decorated my kitchen and found this bowl is the same colour as the cupboards I'd painted. I bought it mainly for that reason but have found it so useful too. The drain is great, no more tipping over bowls and spilling the water, it also traps bits of food to save the sink plug firm getting clogged up.It has four legs which raises it up from the sink below so the bottom stays clean.Very happy with it!

Loving it!

I truly love this product because it is functional, attractive, and the right fit for my kitchen sink! So far its material construction is sound and appears durable and one of quality. It can, however, melt under extreme heat. My 8yr grandson placed a hot griddle in it and it now has a scare/burn mark on the inside, but it did not burn through. Having the handles is very helpful. Yeph so far it is standing the test of time, and love the drain function! I would repurchase for myself or as a gift!

Wished I'd never bought it

The only thing I like about it is the colour. It's made of very rigid plastic so when using it things "clonk around ". I'm particularly worried about glassware getting broken. The strainer is only good for bigger bits, everything else drops through so two strainers to empty. Also the strainer has to be really tightly closed, a couple of times I've caught it and it's allowed the water through. Finally it's on feet and it moves in the sink during use. I've never had anything like it ! I really regret buying this washing up bowl, a very expensive mistake

Worth the price

i questioned paying for handles and a draining plug in a washing up bowel but needed a bowl of this size with little choice. I do not regret the purchase. The handles do not get in the way of using the bowel and are very handy for gripping when lifting the bowl out and around . The drainage plug is secure and does not as I feared leak, it is handy to let out the water in a small sink without tipping and splashing. I won't go back to a simple bowl now. Yet to see how it fares over many years but it seems robust.

elegantly functional

The idea of giving it a drain and handles is brilliant. Sturdy material that's easy to keep clean. Good size for dishes and pots - in fact, it's better in this regard than a traditional rectangular dish pan. The only thing I can't fit in there is a half-sheet baking pan. Some of the lowest rated reviews report that the drain plug wears out and starts to leak. I haven't had this long enough to know, but since it takes so little pressure to close the drain plug, I'm not worried about this happening. Even if it did, you can buy a replacement drain plug for $5.

it's only a washing up bowl but!!

My husband said it would be a white elephant and why buy a washing up bowl! Well we've had a granite sink for nearly 20 years with a metal insert which drives me mad and I can never get clean and never really saw the reason for it. So I ditched the metal thing and the bowl has been fantastic, easy to use saves water rinsing things before they go in the dishwasher and a real bonus with the plug hole! And the sink stays cleaner as well, even the husband is impressed (!!!!) so thank you John Lewis again
