Came safely packaged with the blades individually stored in cardboard for protection.Knives themselves supplied razor sharp. Literally razor sharp, I was able to shave some hair off my arm as a test.Handles are ergonomic and as such, very comfortable to use.The rotating storage block itself I think could be made out of a slightly nicer material, but that's just me being picky. Given the fact that it rotates, it is very convenient and space efficient. If you have young children you may wish to pass on this, as it does make your knives very accessible.Overall, 9.5/10. Excellent quality knives for the price.

I purchased this set last year after having previously owned Joseph Joseph knife setThe knives are still very sharp, however imam not particularly happy with the design of the knives and the carousel base.The knives are hard to remove and put back in carousel.Each knife has to be put on certain spots since the openings are based on size of knife..Overall the knives work well but I prefer the base of the previous set.

Great set of knives, perfect combination of sizes and serrated/non serrated for all your daily needs. Sharp, comfortable to hold and the block looks stylish on the bench!

I love the variety of knives that come in this set. The knives are nice and sharp and the knife block itself is really nice. However, the knives are tricky to get in and out of the block also the rubber colouring on the knives stains!!! My grey coloured one is now stained orange from cutting up carrot and wash in hot soapy water didn't seem to get rid of it either! So I'm a bit disappointed.
Bought to replace the same purchased many years earlier. Love the design the way each knife has its own place in the base . Takes up v little space . Like the new knife selection . Better than original
Really wanted this when I saw the one my daughter had in her kitchen. Now I have my own, on reflection I wish I had taken a good look at it before purchasing mine. The carousel idea is good, but the actual product quality feels and is cheap. The knives seem great at the moment, but again there is no weight to them which means the quality again is cheap, so overall I don't expect the carousel or knives to last long, I am thinking I made a bad purchase.
The blades are excellent and super sharp, the storage carousel is well designed and uses minimal worktop space. The "lift" on the handles is a neat bit of design keeping the blade from lying on a surface. Took a star off because the handles are a bit plasticky and flimsy feeling.
We have been using our knives for around a week after having a new kitchen fitted. The pale green plastic trim on one of the knives has absorbed the colour of a orange pepper while chopping and the stain will not come out. Not impressed as the knives were not cheap. Please can someone from Joseph Joseph contact me with regards to this complaint
We got £100 vouchers as part of promotion when we bought a hoover product and bought these knives. As with all J&J products, they pay careful consideration to ergonomics and quality. These knives are a must have!
Love most of the products but the quality of these was very poor. Was disappointed when they arrived, look and feel cheap. Also, if youre going to colour code the products? It would make sense to also colour code the slots on the block so its clear and quick to slot them back in. The coloured part of the knife handles became stained within a couple of months and I'd barely used them, asked for a refund but apparently staining isn't covered in the warrantee. It's clear these are cheaply made and the material got marked despite very little use. Very disappointed, wish I'd read the precious review prior to purchase.
