Works as advertised but it's still faster to move the water/tray around while filling (I usually fill from pre cooled jug of filtered water as I'm impatient for the ice to set). Very difficult to remove the lid once the water is frozen; I recommend leaving one corner unsealed to make removing the lid less difficult. The design should allow for a tabs so you can hold the lid with one hand, and the base with the other, to allow you to separate them. Seems to be perpetually 'on sale' at Myer every time I look.

Totally love this product and can throughly recommend. Ice cubes are much larger than usual and this product saves the hassel of spilling water in the freezer when you put trays back in.. Easy to get the frozen cubes out of too. Will be ordering more.

Can’t fault it. Best ice cube tray I’ve had, does exactly what the description says, very easy to get the cubes out for once - no smashing against the worktop needed!

These ice trays are the best I've tried. I had another brand with a lid but seemed to find it difficult not to overfill the tray. This one is designed with a fill-line that makes it easy. The cubes come out easier, too.
These trays work pretty good. Filling is easy. The tray lid is what makes the difference. The cubes are larger than most as well which is great. Only minor complaint is the lid is tough to remove, but hopefully will get easier over time. Best to run under water to help release the lid and get the cubes out. Well made.
The ice tray makes nice large pieces of ice. A slight twist of the tray from end to end and the ice releases from the tray. I do find that the lid sticks to the ice cubes making it difficult to remove the lid. Tip is to take the tray out of the freezer and sit on the bench for a few minutes. I then crack one end of the lid and use a butter knife to prize the lid off.
I really do not understand how this is easy fill. No different from the much cheaper ordinary ice cube tray. Waste of money. Joseph Joseph products are very hit and miss. Some are really good and some are completely useless/pointless.
It sounds dramatic but these ice trays are a game changer. Be gone brittle and fiddly trays that only produce a tiny number of tiny cubes at a time and say "hello" to ice cube perfection!
I absolutely love Joseph Joseph and have a LOT of their products but this one falls so short of the mark. It is terribly hard to even open the lid and the cubes even harder to get out. If you maybe left out for a little while it may not be so bad, but I want ice cubes straight from the freezer not 10 minutes later.
I have been struggling with ice cube trays for years, and these are an absolutely brilliant design. Filling is easy, putting them in the freezer without spilling is easy, getting cubes out is easy.
