They are quickly & easily removed from their special holder ,stable to use , fit easily into the dishwasher with their thin design ( although they are easily hand washed) , & slip easily into their designated spot into their special holder. I love the idea of having a special board for each type of food being prepared, to prevent cross contamination.The whole unit looks so lovely.I only wish l had bought this years ago.I thoroughly recommend purchasing this set.Donāt hesitate !!! š

The case looked a matt finish on the website and box, but it has a black high shine finish.Too shiney for my kitchen but too much effort to return (itās hidden in a cupboard!)The Boards seem ok, quite light but pads on boards mean they donāt slide around. However, I havenāt used them, coz they are in the cupboard!Itās a shame, because I have waited ages for this to be in stock.Probably not worth the price

Great keeper of cutting boards. The boards are of good quality. You can choose to use them separately, one for meat, one for veggies, etc. they pop right in their storage box that looks nice and keeps things organized. Looks very nice and is sturdy.

These are very classy and nice looking cutting boards. I really wanted to give these 5 stars but I just couldnāt. They were what I was looking for BUT they get scratched up very easily even after the first few uses. I tested our knifes on an old cheap cutting board and they didnāt scratch/cut near as much. With that being said Joseph & Joseph customer service is fantastic. I give the cutting boards 3 stars but since their customer service was so helpful, I give them 4 out of 5.
Looks good on the kitchen unit, clean lines and modern. However feels cheap when using the boards, marks easily. The case is very thin metal/tin, I am very careful when moving it, just in case I dent it. I think this set is very exoensive and paying for the name. I kept them as I needed chopping boards and had a sparks offer on it. Design over function
Got the set with (plastic) stainless type holder. Really liked how they were colored so as to know which cutting board was to be used on different types of food. Have been using now for a few weeks. Love how I can grab red board for meat, green for vegetables, blue for fish and just chopped onions with no problem on my white board. Have gotten no real cut marks so far on any of my boards. These colors make it so easy to grab the right board so as not to contaminate different types of foods on wrong board. Like these much better than boards that are just labeled on what to use them for. Can grab right board immediately. Sooo easy to use and clean. They are really lovely boards and the rose gold case fits in perfectly with my kitchen. My only gripe is the ācolour codedā claim- the very top of the board and the rubber feet on each one are varying shades of grey. They are really hard to tell apart and honestly a waste of time. If you rely on colour coding- thereās are not for you!
I am disappointed to have payed full price only a couple of weeks ago but these cutting boards are truly terrific. We had the earlier set and used the for about 10 years -- the steal case looks great in the kitchen, takes up little space and the board pop in the dishwasher. The old set had tabs which eventually loosened and came off and needed to be superglued back -- so we decided to replace them with the newer version. It also looks great on our counter and takes up little space and we always have boards at hand. We typically use at least 3 of them in meal prep; having different boards for different foods cuts down on cross contamination.For appearance and functionality, these are just A+ - but sure wish I had waited for the sale.
Ok, ok. Lets talk about the scratching first. First ask yourself. How many chopping boards do you currently have that wonāt scratch? Looking at my other boards they have hundreds of scratches, somenot as visible because they are white. Even my wooden boards. Soā¦ if you have extremely sharp knifes like me, itās gonna happen. I rather take a nice color that plain white. Look at the pictures comparing my old and new chopping boards.I wish the finish was matte asSomeone else mentioned but still looks good. The color is more of a glossy black. But the design is incredible. The boards look GREAT. The boards go in and out easily using the weight of the board. Handle is awesome.
Love the large size of these. They go nicely in the dishwasher, no tabs to get stuck on the door. The black holder is very sleek and does not show up fingerprints. The cutting surfaces still look new and donāt seem to show up the cut marks that others do. All in all, an excellent set.
