A new ironing board to replace the one bought as a wedding 44 years ago was a big decision. The choice range was huge and all I knew was that I didn’t want one with a chrome rack at one end for my iron. I chose eventually the Joseph Joseph Glide ironing board. I am very pleased despite it being a little heavier than I expected. The range of height adjustment is excellent and the unique fold away action is very good. The bracket for the wall to hang the board on for storage is a good idea if you want to use it. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. It does a great job and looks good too.

However, I really like Joseph Joseph products so decided to find out for myself.It is definitely the BEST ironing board I have ever bought. It unfolds and folds up so easily and the ironing height is really easy to adjust. It's not too heavy and its easy to fold up and hang up in the cupboard out of the way. The ironing area is larger than I had before and it is easy to put up and take down when it locks and stays in the closed position. The carry handle can also be used to hang it up on the hook provided (which I haven't yet tried). It is a little heavier than my old one but that makes it feel sturdier to use. I'm really pleased I bought this particular ironing board.

Opening the board wasn't too bad but closing it (and I tried several times) could not be acheived without lying the board extended on the floor. The sales assistant had to do the same! This is a replacement for an ageing ironing board - I couldn't find suitable replacement covers for it anywhere so I had to get a new board. While I doubt if anything could make ironing pleasurable, this board goes a long way towards that. It is a good height, taller than the one I had been using, and the padded surface is excellent giving a very smooth finish. And it folds up very neatly for storage. So: it certainly makes ironing a lot easier.

I always notice them on soaps on tv leaning against a wall in the kitchen or living room.I had a normal sized board tucked behind my living room door, and had been looking for a smaller one for a while.I saw this one in the JL sale and as it was the smallest I had seen I ordered it. It is also kept behind the living room door but not so noticeable being smaller and a fairly neutral colour.I've only used it once - I've no need to do much ironing as I'm retired, don't go out much and now I don't bother to iron clothes I wear around my flat. A solid but surprisingly light ironing board. Nice height adjustable lever. Stands well in the cupboard. I'm not sure how long to leave the hot iron on the silicone. Can it cool down on there? Nothing in the instructions to say. Consequently I put the iron on its end which feels a bit unstable. Other than that it is fine.
Never thought I'd be raving about an ironing board , ironing not being top of my chore list however somehow this one has touched my heart. The thing I like the most is its ability to be significantly height height adjusted for the taller demographic like myself but also adjusts for the height challenged as well. I found it very easy to unfold and refold and I love that it comes with a serious wall hook. Great cover with a silicon iron stand on the end to place your iron. Best of all it looks groovy 😊. Another Joseph Joseph winner in my books.
So pleased to have this ironing board which fits well into my cupboard and into the space I use to do my ironing.Many ironing boards seem to be too long or too short these days!The integrated flat iron rest is great and adds to the appeal of the product.Good smooth ironing surface.Once mastered, it is easy to put up and take down.Height adjustment is easy.Cost more than I would normally spend on this item but is worth the extra expense.I had to swap for the same model as the first one I purchased was damaged on the cover but the exchange was easily done.
Just had a new kitchen and utility room so wanted a new ironing board. I thought this was a bit pricier but liked the idea of the flat iron stand. I love this ironing board, took a while to get used to putting it up though. It is so sturdy and because the iron stand is a continuation of the board, it provides more ironing space. Folds really flat too. I haven't decided whether to put it on the wall yet.
