I bought this to replace the previous design as some of the lids no longer fit properly and thus they leak. No I have not put them in the oven (microwave, electric or gas) and neither have I put them in a dishwasher as we do not have one. They have only been washed in hand hot soapy water.Anyway now that I've got that out of the way, JJ offered me a 20% discount so I bought these as replacements. The sealing arrangment is much more tolerant of slight differences in lid size so I shouldn't have the same problems over years of use.

Great set of storage boxes. Love the fact that they nest, thus saving space in the cupboard when not in use. Lovely colours and a dot on the base to help match the right lid, although I don’t think this is really needed. Good quality plastic and so far no warping.

I bought a few sets of these, both short and tall, 2 years ago. The lids have started to curl upwards and do not fit properly. I use the tall containers for flour, sugar, museli etc so the tops haven't been constantly washed. I really expected them to last longer. The type with clip on lids work much better, especially Sistema...no problem with them.

Great design / idea and I could just about look past the high price if they were durable, but they aren't.After a couple of runs through the dishwasher (top rack only and on ECO setting) the bases have distorted to the point where the lids no longer fit.These are supposedly PP and are advertised as suitable for dishwashers. They should be stable up to around 99 degress centigrade, but they aren't.To put it into perspective, the plastic trays we get free with a chinese takeaway are more durable...
Really useful and look so nice! Love the at the lids have corresponding colours to the boxes so always easy to match up. I know it might seem an extravagant price, but I think so worth it! JosephJoseph products are always excellent quality.
These containers fit together with the lids and save much needed storage space. Easy to identify which kid for which box. No more draws of random lids. Seem sturdy and fit for purpose.
Boxes are a really great solution to storage with and without prep meals inside of them. Great quality designs all round, and I love the colours!I wish you would make the glass boxes with this type of secure clipping lid too. The lids on that product don’t appeal due to transportation issues.
I LOVE these containers. They are everything that I hoped for and super convenient with their ability to easily nest for storage. Colour coordination between lids and bottoms makes things easier too.BUT, it must be at least a couple of months now since I purchased them and the sticky tape used to keep them together for delivery has left a sticky residue on the outside of the biggest container which I cannot seem to get rid of. I have washed it multiple times and am disappointed because it mars what would have otherwise been a really happy purchase. Open to suggestions and would ask that whoever packages these for delivery reconsider taping them with that tape!
How can you improve on this?+ Boxes nest within each other to save space+ Lids click together to save space+ Lids and boxes are colour-coded to match up more quickly+ Boxes are particularly rigid+ Lids click in place easily, but securelyI've yet to find any brand of box that is easy to dry with a teatowel. Having had a previous brand of box warp with dishwasher heat, I don't dare to put them in the dishwasher. But I don't see how to avoid these problems.
We have purchased these before.. (July 2020 I think). The only downside currently is that you cannot buy the individual sizes of pots.. you have to buy the sets (except for the red colour size 1.1L). When I contacted Joseph Joseph on chat, they were very helpful and gave me a discount so buying the set was less of a sting!They do stack, when first purchased the lids can be tough to click together & separate.. after a few uses this becomes easier.We have put home made stews, curry, chilli and the pots do not stain (even after multiple uses). They don't retain or have any lingering smell.They have been in the freezer, microwave and dishwasher several times and have retained their shape.Definitely recommend.
