Some JJ products are seemingly unnecessary and over-engineered. These nesting utensils aren't. They fit together so neatly it's an excellent spacesaver. They are a nice weight, heavier than you'd expect for a silicone product. They are incredibly useful and well-chosen selection. I bought them for a new flat and they cover all the essentials. Typically beautiful visual and ergonomic design. My only gripe, hence 4 stars, are the magnetic ends to the utensils aren't quite powerful enough sometimes. They can slip off if not lined up and connected correctly. Once on though, they never fall off.

The light blue slice on the front is the most often used (good design) but being pale blue has become stained after stirring a curry (bad design) now looks unsightly on the work surface. Better idea is to have used one of the other shades of darker blue. Cannot change the order due to the design (another bad imho)

The set itself I think is absolutely great!They look stylish & sleek in the kitchen but also very practical to have to hand.They feel durable & are extremely handy to have at reach when cooking. This is an excellent product for my small kitchen as they are compact & do not take up a lot of room.You buy some utensils and they feel cheap, these do not. Even being plastic.1 disappointment unfortunately...It states clearly not to use with harsh colourants (such as tumeric). Being VERY careful, I've only used the utensils on foods with no to very little colouring & rinsed/wiped between "stirs". Something I do not mind doing to keep in good condition.However, I used on a mushroom rice which took 15 mins max & there was almost NO colouring in the food. So the concept is great!! It organizes well however it needs a redesign.It doesn’t stay stuck together very well and they are constantly falling.The peg on the back of each of them aren’t long enough for them to stay together.You’re constantly fighting to keep them hung up together so I’m only giving it 3 stars.But the concept and compactness is great especially for small kitchens and not a lot of counter space.
These are HORRIBLE!!! I bought them on sale and even then it wasn’t worth it!! I thought how neat not to have to fill your utensil drawer anymore! WRONG!! They are constantly falling of the stand.. the peg behind the Utensils aren’t long enough! Complete GARBAGE and waste of money!!
Always wanted one but waited for the 50% off offer. It’s great. Numbering the utensils to help with restacking was so clever. Shame I can’t use with turmeric though. Perhaps another set to come that doesn’t discolour?
The utensils themselves are really nice, I like the look and feel of them - but the method of hanging is just hopeless. The magnet isn't strong enough to hold them in place, and if you want to use the soup ladle at the back, the rest of the things won't hang and they end up all over the place.They look really good in the kitchen - just best if you don't actually need to use them. :-(
This nest of utensils look lovely, stylish and are a great space saving solution, however they stain literally from the first use. Joseph Joseph do state that you shouldn't use with staining foods like turmeric or tomato bases, but really what's the purpose of utensils that you can't use?? In terms of whether they are good quality, yes, but they look gross after a week. I'm going to try the black ones as I do like them, but I wouldn't recommend the light ones if you have them on show.
I got these utensils as a Christmas gift and loved the colours and the way they stacked.Super neat on the work surface. However, first time using the ladle for spooning stock into Risotto, I left the ladle in the stock for ease of use and it took on staining at the part of the ladle sitting in the stock and turned it green. (my ladle is blue) I cannot remove the stain and like other reviewers, was disappointed that this is now permanently stained. Its at the back of the stack so not very visible, but it kinda stops me from using any of the otherutensils as if they stain, then the lot will go in the drawer. I considered that if it was plastic it should not soak in a colour.
