Was going to buy the cheaper one, but saw the comments were not so cool. And saw this one got quite positive comments, so I finally chose this. And it turned out to be a good decision ! This can-opener has sharp "wheel-knife", easy to open the can by just rotating the knob, really worked well.

I bought this wonderful multi-use can opener first for an elderly relative who no longer has the strength to open ring pull cans. It is so easy to use that I then got one for myself as I have arthritis. The can opener part is also very easy to use, the best one I've ever tried.

After struggling with a cheaper can opener I decided to invest in this model. It makes such a difference. Opening tins/cans is no longer a struggle and frustrating. The additional features are well designed and the item is very easy to hold and clean. Would highly recommend.

Not only does it open cans smoothly and with very little effort but the little pull tab opener has honestly changed my life. I'm horrible at pull tabs and often had to pry them open with a knife after accidentally pulling off the tab. But now opening pull tabs is simple. LOVE this multipurpose tool

So when my can opener gave up the ghost I went to the John Lewis Cheadle store to check out the Joseph Joseph model.It is robustly made and certainly dealt easily with opening my first tin of soup.I have used the pivot to easily pull the ring off a soft drinks can and it also has a robust bottle opener.
