This clever design combines the features of a salad spinner and a colander in one, thereby saving you precious cupboard space. For preparing salads, simply attach the spindle and suction cup to the basket, add the food and rinse as normal under the tap. Next fix the colander to the base of the sink with the suction cup and then pump the spindle up and down to rotate the basket and expel the excess water. This product is an acceptable colander but a terrible spinner.If you want to spin more than a couple of portions of anything you can enjoy the contents flying past your head to cover your kitchen as the spin force launches all contents out.The marketing shows a full spinner being used and this is inaccurate and misleading as only a fraction of that could be spun at once, unlike a conventional salad spinner

Smart design that works well for smaller quantities; not so useful for larger quantities of, e.g., lettuce, spinach, etc. Also, without a lid, watch that things don't spin out over the open top.The suction pad works well and is a good idea as is the removable pump-action handle
It splashed all over everything and you need a very wide sink to put it in. Disappointing. I was hoping I could replace my old icon salad spinner but it’s back on my countertop.
It’s kind of a drag that parts have to assemble and come apart for this to work properly. I mean the suction cup and the central spin column. Not sure it will stand the rest of time
The spindola is excellent so quick and easy. My salad dries much better than with normal spinners. Wish it was blue instead of green though I’m not a big fan of this green colour but it works so well and I store it in a cupboard.
Much fewer elements to deliver than my old salad spinner, and somehow ingeniously the water does not fly out the top and drench you but drains obediently into the sink.
Good little salad spinner, although a little wobbly when spinning - takes up much less room than my old salad spinner
This has replaced my colanders and in addition I now have a salad spinner which works great. Very lightweight and easy to use. The bits put together and come apart easily and store neatly inside. Glad I got it.
