Joseph Joseph Tota 90 Litre Laundry Separation Basket Ecru

Not happy you gave me the wrong color. I asked for black and I got gray. I messaged the chat. They told me I have to return the item. That is a hassle for me to go all the way to ship it back. It’s not my fault the color was sent to me was the wrong color. I would like the color I ordered not what was sent to me. If I paid full price and didnt even receive the color I purchased for. This is not good customer service.I don’t understand how hard it is to send the correct one you only have two colors to choose from. Im very upset about this. Please make this right!

I love this laundry hamper. It makes sorting laundry simple and is stylish. The materials are decent for the price, but you are paying more because its from Joseph and Joseph.There are a couple of important things to note. 1) The outside is made of fabric (not plastic or another material), which is not really specified in the description. There are also additional inside liner bags that attach to the plastic rim slots. 2) This is relatively easy to put together, but for somebody with a fine motor control disability, arthritis, or other hand issues it could be difficult. Assembling this requires you to put the outside liner around metal rods and over and into thin slots on the plastic top and bottom piece. That part was particularly fiddly.

A nightmare to assemble!

I admit I didn't realise the basket was a self-assembly product, but in any case it proved unacceptably difficult to put together. I was on the verge of sending the basket back as, the cover, which fits over the frame, just refused to slip on. The demonstration video makes this look like a breeze. It isn't. Finally got the cover on by easing it on bit by bit, using clamps to hold the fabric in place. Couldn't have managed it otherwise and, as it is, this took a couple of hours. Looks good once assembled but unless you have strongish hands and fingers and a set of four or five woodwork G-clamps (and a couple of hours to spare), look elsewhere.

Beautiful quality

Lovely hamper - it arrived unassembled so had to carefully follow instructions. These were not difficult but important for the overlook finish.Absolutely delighted with the finished product, so much so that I bought another one for a family member. The large one is really a family size and the smaller much more suitable for an individual.The Joseph Joseph laundry hampers were worth every cent (although I bought both from Myers on sale, YAY).Looking at the JJ rubbish bins next!!

Great basket once its put together

More of a dark blue than a black, this is a large imposing laundry basket that we hope will more than cope with our requirements. There are two individual compartments for separating laundry and the bags can be easily removed from the basket for emptying.As for putting this thing together out of the box? Well I would strongly suggest watching the video carefully and putting it together exactly as shown. A fair degree of finger strength and dexterity is required for putting the material into the frame so its not your average flat pack. Joseph Joseph for all their design nous should go back to the drawing board to help their customers a little in putting this together when they take it home.

I think Joseph Joseph laundry baskets look elegant, sophisticated and with clean lines, modern.Assembly was a little fiddly, as mentioned in previous reviews, however, even with my sausage fingers I was able to manipulate the top and bottom edges into the required grooves. The instructions are confusing but adequate, if you can take time to read.Now for the admission.... I had bought 2 of the 90 litre Ecru Separation laundry baskets but even with the 15% introduction for signing onto the Joseph Joseph website, John Lewis, the very same evening, had a sale on. Nifty basket, pulls its weight

Surprisingly large in physical size so make sure that you have enough space. Easy to construct, excellent layout and feels nice quality. Useful to have the three compartments and it has made doing laundry noticeably easier given everything is categorised already. Love the handle strap at the bottom of each bag.I never thought I’d spend this much on a laundry basket but it genuinely is nice to use and makes life easier.

One thing I wasn’t sure about was how the two bag sections are much smaller than the volume of the item itself, but they really do hold plenty. I’m using it solely for myself though - I wouldn’t go any smaller than the 90L if it’s for more than one person. Putting it together is simple until you get to the part where you tuck the fabric into the frame, definitely swore a few times before I got the hang of it and it took a while.So nice to have a stylish laundry hamper that fits my bedroom decor, instead of one taking up my bathroom. I also love that it’s completely closed as I’m not keen on things crawling into my laundry! very difficult to assemble - canvas is a nightmare

I absolutely regret buying this. As another reviewer mentions, the outer canvas is extremely difficult to get onto the assembled frame...be prepared for broken finger nails, and cut/scratched fingers. Another reviewer mentioned having to use clamps, and I agree that is the only way to get it on. It is *very* tight fitting, and once you manage to get one end over the frame, the other end slips back off. I don't have clamps myself, so that was not an option. I finally just gave up, and figured it's okay if it looks like a wrinkled mess because it's just in a closet anyway.
