But it settles in places I didn't even know were a problem! I had a video meeting, and this actually wasn't the full coverage it describes, so I applied my colourpop hyaluronic acid tinted moisturizer over and sorted it out, but obviously not a foundation I'd purchase.

BUT if none of the above happens, your face will look nice. I tried this product for a week. I used a Jouer foundation brush, a damp beauty blender, and my finger to see which application process would work best - brush was best, but the above issues still applied. I also have extremely dry skin, so I used the Jouer hydrating primer which I do like. Also, make sure your primer is completely dry before applying this foundation...you know because it’s wet otherwise 🤦🏼♀️

When I first used this foundation I fell in love with the product, I felt my skin was perfection. This was confirmed by my husband (my almost boyfriend at the time) when he picked me up for a date - first thing that came out of his mouth upon arrival at my condo was "WOW, you look gorgeous." as he starred at my face, grabbed it and then kissed me. I am telling you, no joke, I immediately knew it was the new foundation. 1000%. They used to have a lighter version, tinted moisturizer with great coverage but lighter with SPF. It was my beach/summer go to, I wish they would bring it back. It was like non-make up makeup.

I’m impressed with this foundation. Matte foundations are hit or miss on my finicky, combo skin. This one performed beautifully. It doesn’t emphasize my fine lines or texture, didn’t break up on my T-zone after 12 hours of wear (which happens with almost every foundation on my skin), covers a multitude of sins without feeling heavy or looking cakey, and the color match is exact for me (shade Biscuit). It pairs beautifully with both the liquid and pen concealers, depending on my coverage needs that day. I will definitely purchase this again. Jouer has some of the best complexion products on the market IMO, and I’ve used literally hundreds of different brands and types, ranging from drugstore to luxury. I don’t usually wear a full coverage foundation, but sometimes need one. This is amazing. Literally covers every blemish, discolouration and makes your skin perfectly matte. You only need one pump absolutely no more, I used it with a glass primer to ensure I had no dry bits for it to cling to and applied with a beauty blender. It does have an odd consistency for a full coverage foundation, it’s very watery but that aside it works like a dream. I’m 43 and it didn’t even settle into any of my pores. It also stayed put and my combination skin didn’t get oily where it usual does when I wear foundation. Just use as little as possible too much and you’ll regret it.

As a 60+ women of color with a golden undertones, hyperpigmentation and combination skin, I can't believe I finally found a (actually my daughter found this at TJ Maxx) foundation that offers me a good amount of coverage and does not make my skin feel like I am wearing a mask. First of all I am a beginner at wearing any kind of foundation. Make up always made me feel like I was wearing a mask. Yuk! My skin always felt oily, heavily coated or dry. This foundation is the only onethat I've found I can wear and not feel over coated/masked for lack of a better description. It feels like i am wearing a natural moisturizing lotion. That says a lot for from me, because I prefer naturally bare skin. Generally, I don't like foundations, but this brand is a keeper.

For me, the two big surprises were Paradis and Piscine.Given my usual distaste for blue eyeshadow, I was surprised to see how much I enjoy Piscine: featuring an almost transparent base and sparse, extremely fine glitter particles, it goes on smoothly and never fails to add a somber, understated touch of color and brightness to the lid. I'm talking all my hyperpigmentation covered up with this! The colour range can be confusing but I luckily got the perfect shade and undertone for my skin. Bronzed... For anyone looking to choose this shade and is unsure i also use MAC nc38/nc42 summer. I use spiced sand, honey bronze Estée Lauder in the summer and I use Shell beige in the winter (I'm a neutral undertone) I use butter pecan in huda beauty, nars Aruba in the summer but can get away with Valencia too, Laura mercier real flawless in ginger! Shade 6N and shade 6.5N in L'Oréal true match. Hope this helps anyone looking for their shade ... Ok, lots of foundations are claiming to be full coverage these days, but those of us with actual stuff to cover know that actual full coverage is very rare. And when you manage find one, it tends to look cruddy and textured or wipe straight off your face. Well, this is one of the most full coverage I have ever tried, and I've been wearing it for 14 hours. I was shocked that it just went on and covered immediately--no layering needed. I think maybe people are having trouble with it because they're fussing around with it too much. I also don't think a beauty blender is gonna make it easy. I basically slapped it on with my fingers--using a generous amount (over Elf hydrating primer--which is oil and silicone. They got along swimmingly!). A thicker amount was actually ... If you need full coverage (not just sort of, almost full coverage), it is definitely worth your while to work with this a time or two and see how it goes best on your skin. It's truly one of the best full coverage foundations I have ever tried.
