Journey MS15WCMBK Magsafe Compatible 15W Wireless Charging Car Mount

I recently purchased 2 of these car mounts to replace the old Anker ones that still required me to squeeze the sides to make sure the phone stayed in place. These new Alogic ones are much better. Simply hold them close to the magnets to feel the iPhone snap into place. The USB-C cables charge them wirelessly and the vent gripping mechanism has so far not failed once to hold iPhones and mounts themselves firmly in place.Both my wife and I are very happy with this purchase.

Best car charger out there, but could use improvement

This is the only magnetic air vent mount I’ve seen that includes charging, so I was stoked to be able to charge my phone while I drive without having to plug and unplug every time. It holds my iPhone 13 in place solidly, and overall I’m happy with it. On the downside, it feels more cheaply made than I expected. I previously was using a Belkin mount that felt incredibly sturdy, but didn’t charge the phone. The Journey mount is lighter and feels less secure. The flip down leg has preset positions with plastic pins that click into place. It’s not super adjustable, and would be really easy to break. The mount itself doesn’t feel super secure in place - it has a bit of wobble to it when you move the phone around. Don’t bother looking anywhere else other than Journey

Where do I start? I was just talking to some friends about the chargers that I received. I absolutely LOVE them! I purchased the 3-in-1 phone/watch/airpods charger in white (black sad out of stock at the time) and it is super convenient charging everything in one. I always fumbled with my old phone stand charger and then use two other chargers for my AirPods and watch but now I just use the magsafe and place the others on and done. I loved it so much that I bought 2 more in black for our room and will use the white one when traveling or for house guests. I also bought 2 of the car MagSafe chargers and a huge fan of those too. Exceptionally Useful Purchase

I hate looking for my phone while I’m navigating. This mag safe mount has been one of the most useful purchases I’ve made in a while. I did not realize I would end up enjoying this product as much as I am. It is easy to put together and the magnet holds your phone in place very well. However, when it comes time to detach your phone from the mount, it’s not a pain or hassle to get it off. I would recommend purchasing this for yourself or as a gift. It’s nice to have an optimal designated spot for your phone when you hop in your vehicle.

I have the iPhone Max 13 with the Speck Presidio MagSafe Case and it's a heavy phone. Before purchasing the Journey Magnetic Wireless Charging Car Mount, I was using the Belkin Magsafe Car Mount. When my case is on the phone it would not stay on the Belkin Mount, just the movement of the car it could fall off. So I wanted to find something that it would be very secure and be able to handle the weight of the phone in the case. I purchased this mount about 2 weeks ago and have used it in two different cars and it's AWESOME! Both cars had different vents and dashboard at different angels. Perfect for me

I had to get a new magnet phone holder for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and was looking for one that would be secure even with the extra weight. This is great, I love that it also charges the phone (although it is a bit slow for charging) and even over bumps and potholes the phone is very secure and doesn't shift at all as long as the MagSafe circles are lined up properly. I like talking on the phone during long car trips and also love that I can still use wired earbuds (I don't like bluetooth earbuds) with this while the phone is charging. Very easy to install, it only took a couple of minutes and attaches securely to the air vent.

Solid product, may work better on horizontal vent blades.

I do like the product and purchased two of these with the optional arm as well as the vent mount. It gives great flexibility. I have found though with a vent that runs vertically vs. horizontal, it "gets loose" slipping over time, the stabilization foot having difficulty to hold in place. I believe this is because the grips around the vent blade lose tension and slip over time as the phone is removed. It does take time, and overall I still like the product and find it works better than others we have tried.

This is the smartphone car mount I've been looking for!

If you have a BMW X1, you know that there are a lot of odd, uneven surfaces on the dash. So the mounts that suction cup to the dash was out. Also, in my state, the highway patrol can, if they choose, cite you for having a device suction-cupped on your windshield. So that was out. And using one of those mounts that fits inside the CD player slot didn't fit and obscured my audio controls. The Journey vent mount works perfect. And thanks to the MagSafe magnet I don't have to stick an aftermarket magnet inside my case. I don't go off-roading but there a some rough streets that I travel every day and the Journey mount never gets dislodged and never drops my phone. Works well, I use this with my Samsung S21 Ultra

Works brilliantly with the Magsafe tech, and I'm able to use it with my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra because I have the magnet-equipped Peak Design phone case, which allows it to latch securely to any Magsafe iPhone charger. That case is expensive tho, so if you're keen, you should check out the adhesive magsafe rings that you can buy from JB, designed to stick to the back of your phone case.As for the charger itself, it's great. It's lighter than I thought it'd be, which makes it feel a little cheap, but it's not like I have to hold it once it's attached to my car vent. And of course, the reason it's light is so that it doesn't put stress on the louvres in your car vent. Smart.

Would recommend

Very pleased after initially having doubts.The vents on my Transit are very small and close together. Other holders have drooped and dropped out but the clip holds it well and with the support leg it is very stableInitially I was disappointed as the charging kept cutting in and out of the radio every 10 seconds, meaning what I was listening to was interrupted and I had silence for 5 seconds, so I changed charging plugs, still the same. I thought I would have to return it. Then I changed charging sockets, this cured it, so it was my socket that was at fault not the MagSafe system and I haven’t had any regrets since.I have tried it in several vehicles with different styles of vents and it has easily adapted to all of them.
