This was an amazing product till it was reformulated. I started using this product about a year ago and absolutely saved my skin. It was recommend by a friend who has dermatitis and she thought it might help my rosacea. It was amazing and really cleared up my skin, I had been searching for over 2 years for a cream that would work for me before that. I have used at least 2 tubes of the old formula oil free moisturizer and loved it. It was the perfect moisturizer for my very oily and very acne prone skin. It, along with the acne serum and face wash have been awesome. Before using these juice beauty products, my face was dehydrated as well. I had a really hard time finding a vegan, cruelty free moisturizer that hydrated my skin with making me oily or breaking me out. The previous oil free moisturizer was perfect.This new formula is horrible. It is thicker and hard to blend. I needed to use more to cover my face. Honestly I am so happy with this moisturizer. The price point is incredible for how long the tube will last because of its thickness. It isn’t the most luxurious texture but I just apply it with wet hands to make it apply well and it doesn’t feel thick or heavy on my skin at all- just fresh and matte! I honestly love the aloe-like texture of it, it doubles as eyebrow gel...for real it works perfect. And my skin has been so much better than with any other product!! I eased into using it because it did feel potent at first and now after a few weeks of using it twice a day my skin texture has improved so much and I haven’t had any blemishes. Easy to apply and it helps to reduce redness

I use it with the face wash and the serum from the Blemish Clearing collection, they work! I had really bad acne due to hormonal imbalance, most of it went away by itself eventually but I couldn't get rid of part of it. I started using this kit (serum, moisturizer, face wash) it and it went away for good. Recommended!

Formula changed :(

For whatever this is worth, I haven't used this moisturizer since I bought out what was on clearance at Whole Foods last year. But I loved it! I decided to try some other moisturizer of other brands not finding anything I loved. I recently switched back to primarily Juice Beauty products, and purchased the antioxidant moisturizer...which I love! But it leaves me an oil slick an hour into wearing it no matter what I do. So I thought I'd come back to this oil free moisturizer for morning use so I don't end up shiny by the time I get to work everyday. Great for my combo skin + works under makeup

I have pretty dry skin with an oily t-zone and love this stuff. I use it in the mornings before my makeup and it looks amazing with my usual products. I also feel that it helps with the longevity of my makeup. Since using it my makeup has been looking better for longer throughout the day. My skin still feels hyrated when I take my makeup off. Love love love.

I guess it works for some people

I hesitate to say anything negative about any Juice Beauty product because I use so many and I love them. However, I didn’t realize how much this moisturizer was producing everything I hated about the way my skin felt until I didn’t use it one time. I LOVE the oil free spf moisturizer in the morning and so I was excited to find this to use at night. This feels great when I put it on at night but in the morning my face always felt greasy and dirtier than it had been before I washed it the night before and my face would sweat so bad it was awful. Then one night I decided to try the treatment oil as my night moisturizer because I remembered how my face always felt so silky in the morning after using that. I had been using this moisturizer only I was using the one with the SPF of 30. That version of the moisturizer leaves a very slight whitish cast on the face, although if you put on foundation afterwards, you don't see it. I just didn't want to deal with that anymore so I did a little research on an alternative. I didn't really feel like there was anything out there that was going to satisfy my need of a combination moisturizer and sun block, so I just decided to try using this version of the moisturizer and then put sunblock on top of that.There are some good things about this moisturizer. So if I have to choose between a weird smell which dissipates fairly quickly or a whitish cast which still lingers a little longer I'll take the smell.The other thing I did like about this moisturizer is that it does not leave a sticky feel. The other version does leave a sticky feel afterwards. So generally I would recommend this moisturizer. I might have given it five stars but I haven't been using it very long so that's why I only give it four. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt.

Wonderful for my acne and temperamental skin!

I have very sensitive combination skin (on the oily side right now because of summer) that is acne- and texture-prone. My skin is annoying because I'm too oily and sensitive for most regular lotions, but if I do a really light lotion, my texture and dryness come out and I feel like a dried up creek bed.Like other reviews have said, this moisturizer feels a bit thick when applying, but I don't mind that. I find it's best applied by putting some on the back of your hand (don't need a lot) and then smoothing it in 3 sections: left side, right side, forehead. It feels weird and kinda waxy at first but then it sinks in after awhile and you don't even feel like you have anything on. This is the first consistent day lotion I've found that doesn't break me out, keeps my oil at bay, and protects my dryness and sensitive areas. And it's all natural! Definitely a win.
