Juki TL-2200QVPMINI Sewing Machine

Very solid, beautifully made and with loads more feet than I expected. It’s very different to my Janome, being a mechanical, single stitch machine with different threading and bobbin setup. I have only just started using it, but on a quick trial it stitches beautifully through multiple layers, and has a good sized working area. I’ll be mainly using it for quilting, and so far it seems ideal.

Value For Money:bought it during 9/9 sale so its worth it.Been using an industsrial machine these past yrs but due to space constraints, we cant hv an industrial one anymore. This is our next of choice. Works like the big machine but save space and I like that we can control the speed just like the big industrial one.

A real workhorse

Absolutely in love with this straight stitch sewing machine. Sews a perfect straight stitch. Automatic thread cutter works perfect every time and it saves time cutting threads by having the control on the foot pedal. No birds nest of threads from cutting. Needle threader works every time. Bit of an oil guzzler, but that’s to be expected on a mechanical machine. I sew everything from light weight fabrics, clothing, home furnishings to bags and it never lets me down. Made of metal, it is a very sturdy machine and not flimsy. This machine compliments my other Juki computerised sewing machine that does more fancy stitches. I find I always reach for this machine if possible. Hint: if sewing bags or more heavy duty items, make sure you get the thick throat plate.

Bad machine

I bought this long arm 2 years ago and made only one quilt. The stitch regulator never worked right. At times the machine runs crazy as if on its own mind and I had to drag it along. The result is terrible squiggly stitches. I sent it back after paying over $300 shipping fee to have it serviced. The result is not improving much. Do not waste your money. Invest in a better one. I regretted so much. This review is not about the vender but about the juki long arm.

Beautiful straight stitch sewing.

I live in Townsville. I purchased this machine and within 36 hours it was on my doorstep. I was so surprised at how quickly Echidna had it sent up to me. I had watched many videos on this machine so when I opened it up, and turned it on, it actually performed better than I expected. This is because I had never sewed on a semi industrial machine before. The stitching on curves was brilliant, it easily stitched through 16 layers of cotton on my test sewing, and it is easy to use. So simple, yet so professional. Love it! I didn't realise how much oil this machine is going to guzzle, but I am thankful that machine sewing oil is pretty cheap. If most of your sewing (e.g. 90% plus) is straight stitch, this a serious contender for your money. I know this machine is built ... MoreI live in Townsville. Best machine I have ever owned!

I own a Juki 2200QVP mini and can’t say enough how much I LOVE this machine! I piece, foundation paper piece, free motion quilts, goes through many layers, binding, leather and vinyl. Does everything I need…no fuss machine and so very dependable and very affordable for such a workhorse!

Juki Virtuoso-disappointing for the money

I have been long arm quilting for about seven years. I had a Juki TL-98E with a frame for several years and was very excited to get this machine. Unfortunately I had problems with the electronics right after I first got it, The handle buttons wouldn't shut off. The Grace company sent me new handle bars and it is working better, but still does not always shut off when it should. The frame is very sturdy however I have had to replace the ratchets at the end of the rollers after six months. This was very disappointing. The machine itself is working very well. My husband made a ruler base for me and I love it! The staff at sewing machine plus have been very good to work with and the Grace company people have been wonderful. Model -TL2200QVP

Model-TL2200QVP machine is not working. Error on the screen that says Firmware02.05 version. It is not controlled at all from the hand position. Need a maintenance manual and troubleshoot. Help me

Nothing but problems

When this machine works, it works very well! BUT the stitch regulator and display have been replaced twice on warranty. Now it is off warranty and it is having the same problems! A new stitch regulator and display was ordered over a month ago and I still have not received the parts! I have lost a lot of business with this machine! When it was on warranty I got parts overnight! Sewing machine plus had to order parts from manufacturer. Not very good response from them.
