Juliette has a Gun describes a modern femininity divided between her desire for romance and independence. Creator, Romano Ricci, imagined his scents as olfactory portraits creating fragrance with a specific woman in mind. MMMM is a sin to indulge in unreservedly. An olfactive sweetness that regales the senses and provokes immediate pleasure. MMMM is a forbidden fruit, advised, recommended even. For oneself, but also those around you.

The patchouli was light and almost unnoticeable unless you really know it’s there. I used 2 sprays for my wrists and dabbed behind my ears and 2 sprays on my chest/clothing. The parfum was very strong at first, almost too strong as I’m not used to wearing such strong parfums but rather light body sprays. As the day or evening wore on, the scent lightened and I had to reapply after 6 hours. When I wore this in the evening, it was the perfect amount of staying power for what I needed with no need for reapplication. Juliette Has A Gun MMMM embodied a sultry expensive evening vibe with a strong empowering cloak of mystery and intrigue. Not a scent I would wear during the day but rather for special date nights or when I want to feel sultry. I love the frosted red glass bottle that is etched with florals. It has a nice expensive weight feel to it. Juliette Has A Gun is a cruelty free brand at the time of this review which I absolutely Love! A 3.3 oz/100 ml bottle of this decadent Eau de Parfum spray is $140. I would buy and wear this scent for evenings

It has this added powdery sweetness as it blends with the orange blossom. I mean it is BEAU-TI-FUL. The tuberose is a flirty bubblegum that you can taste. This is interesting because it has a slight creaminess to it too. These sweet, fluffy white florals start to come alive with the added jasmine. She is far from sharp but still adds some height to this sweet, edible treat. This is like the true scent of a candy ice cream shops combining aromas. The fragrance gets extremely feminine when the iris tuberose come together. It is such a delicious, soft powdery dream!!! Let us acknowledge the staying power of the opening notes who are indeed still here. You still get this juicy, fuzzy, fruity raspberry sweet orange blossom twirling together under the gorgeous white florals. This powdery note is more like a sweet puff cloud. It kind of reminds me of those Sanrio marshmallow candies. Not the scent but just how soft puffy they were. If this fragrance felt like anything it was like those in your hand. I find it similar to the type of powdery effect Delina Exclusif gives but in a different scent/notes cloud. I mean the sillage is absolutely gorgeous, flirty, youthful w/o being childish, edible. Now this fragrance takes it time going through its development. You get to enjoy every single note I love that. As we enter dry down, I get 0 patchouli thus far. I do believe the sandalwood comes adds this creamy, silky blend to the middle notes as the bottom notes start to peek. I get a stronger almond to my nose that may be a hint dry dusty but you don't get it fully because the caramel comes with it. The almond/heliotrope is really adding this thick, creamy, soft texture to the caramel. The vanilla is soft, a bit musky. It is a slightly stronger version of Tihota coming to the front. She isn't boozy or a dark vanilla by far. It is actually quite dainty but not hidden, if that makes sense. It really helps project this caramel note. Like a caramel sauce, cooled, your mixing it so this sweet aroma is hovering in the air. Now for all my anti patchouli don't stray from this by the notes. I can get a slight peek of patchouli coming in but it's way to the back. Think of it as a pedestal or holding platter to all these edible notes. You get more of a sweet musk that still hits you with the opening fuzzy, juicy raspberry out the blue. You still get that gorgeous powdery pink bubblegum randomly popping up in your scent bubble. There is this subtle green that adds some brightness to the fragrance that trails hand hand with subtle sweet orange blossom that stays to the back. This is a happy, feel good, pink, feminine, flirty fragrance. Now I got 6hrs of a good trail before it went to hovering over my skin. When the wind breeze hit me, she said hello every time, even after the 6hrs. I did spray on the back of my hand to see how she held up overnight. It was still this powdery, sweet, flirty gourmand that sat closer to skin by now but this is 10hrs+. I know everyone's skin, chemistry, environment varies but she showed out on me. I got a lot of compliments enjoyed everytime it tickled my nose. Keep in mind I am testing her in cold, cold weather. I can't wait to try her in Spring/Summer. I just know she will beam off my skin.

I love reviewing perfume's, they are such a personal and subjective item that there is really no "cut and dry" way to review them, what smells great to me, might smell horrible to another. But I love talking up perfume's that are done well, and this is one of them. First impressions with the presentation and packaging, 10/10, there is no way this perfume is breaking or leaking in transit unless it is run over by the parcel carrier. It is swaddled in a padded foam clamshell insert tucked inside a cardboard sleeve. That baby is secure! Their packaging has a lovely minimalist look, the bottle inside is just as striking without being overly busy. The candy apple red packaging with subtle embossed swirls and the vibrant silver of the company name and fragrance. I love it. On to the fragrance itself, if you are a fan of subtle gourmand flavors, this is one to try. With top notes of raspberry, geranium and Neroli, middle notes of tuberose, iris, orange blossom and jasmine sambac and base notes of vanilla, caramel, sandalwood, heliotrope, white musk and patchouli. This is a complex fragrance that is lovely through all its stages. Upon first application you do get a burst of the sweeter top notes that settles into a warm sultry fragrance, that is subtle enough for daily wear. My only wish is that I didn't go nose blind to this fragrance thought the day, it's so lovely I wish I could keep smelling it, but it does fade down to a more skintimate throw (meaning someone might have to get up close and personal to enjoy it) I have tried a sample of "Not a perfume" by the same company and loved it, I feel like their pricing is pretty standard for a commercial fragrance. I would like to try other scents by this company, I think they are unique and not overpowering as the wearer or as someone smelling it on someone else. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone who was curious.

I was lucky to receive this complimentary from Influenster and Juliette Has a Gun in exchange for my honest review. The first word that comes to mind with a name like Mmmm….is delicious. And honestly, that describes this scent rather well. The first thing that hits you is the scent of vanilla and raspberry. Although it is a sweeter scent than I generally prefer, it is still not overbearing. After a while, I began to pick up on the floral scents just slightly along with sandalwood. However, none of these were extremely strong. My only complaint is that it wasn’t extremely long-lasting. I also have to note that the packaging is gorgeous. It was well protected for being transported through the mail and not a chance of anything spilling or easily breaking. I liked this fragrance more than I expected too since it’s not something I would normally gravitate to.

A grown up vanilla
16 January 2023

I am really loving this perfume. I was a bit nervous when I saw it was a vanilla scent and was worried it would be too sweet, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. I would call this a very “grown up” vanilla, if that makes sense. This is not the sickly sweet vanilla body spray you wore when you were 12; it’s a grown up scent for a grown up individual (at least that’s how I see it!). I also wouldn’t say that this scent is season-specific. It’s one of those amazing scents that can work year round, both day and night. It’s extremely versatile. It’d be great wearing on a tropical vacation, but you could also wear it to work at your 9-5. Now I’ll admit I was not in love with the bottle. It kind of looked like a cheap or average perfume with its simple design and colors, so imagine my surprise when I smelled it and realized that it was truly something special. It’s a very fresh scent. Not musky at all, not too harsh in any way. It lasted the entire day, but did seem to wear off towards the end of the evening which is to be expected. When I wear this fragrance, I feel confident and ready for success. As a stay at home mom, feeling that way doesn’t happen organically a lot, so I’m glad I now have this perfume to boost my self esteem.

Delicious salty vanilla
18 January 2023

Super excited to have received this perfume for review, because it’s my favorite from JHAG line-up and I’d been hogging the little samples whenever I could (see photo) before I would inevitably have had to shell out for the travel size. As the title says, it’s basically salty vanilla, which sounds strange but works so well irl. I generally like vanilla, but not too into super sweet, gourmand type. This perfume satisfies that craving while remaining fresh, very lightly floral if a little creamy and savory enough with the initial sea salt hit. It gives me definite beachy vibes and while distinct, I would put it in the same category as Beach Walk from MM Replica line and Salt from Ellis Brooklyn (interestingly enough, I find the salty notes in Vanilla Vibes stronger ... MoreSuper excited to have received this perfume for review, because it’s my favorite from JHAG line-up and I’d been hogging the little samples whenever I could (see photo) before I would inevitably have had to shell out for the travel size. It gives me definite beachy vibes and while distinct, I would put it in the same category as Beach Walk from MM Replica line and Salt from Ellis Brooklyn (interestingly enough, I find the salty notes in Vanilla Vibes stronger than in their namesake perfume from EB.) While I believe in wearing any perfume you like at any time of year, I would classify it as summery it I absolutely had to. The lasting power is in line with other modern, subjectively cool perfume houses, some of which I’ve mentioned above. I get a few hours on my skin, better results on clothes, but this scent profile lends itself so well to being soft and not in your face that I’m very happy with the performance. Of course, the bottle is absolutely gorgeous and stands out in my ample collection with its gradient design - it truly does look like nightfall coming down in the desert as per the product description. I am giving it a super solid four star rating. It’s worth sampling at the very least if anything I’ve described above appeals to you.

She can do no wrong, Lol. This is like the true scent of a candy & ice cream shops combining aromas. Now this fragrance takes it time going through its development. You get to enjoy every single note & I love that. As we enter dry down, I get 0 patchouli thus far. I do believe the sandalwood comes & adds this creamy, silky blend to the middle notes as the bottom notes start to peek. I get a stronger almond to my nose that may be a hint dry & dusty but you don't get it fully because the caramel comes with it The almond/heliotrope is really adding this thick, creamy, soft texture to the caramel. The vanilla is soft, a bit musky. It is a slightly stronger version of Tihota coming to the front. There is this subtle green that adds some brightness to the fragrance that trails hand & hand with subtle sweet orange blossom that stays to the back. She is GORG!!!

For Vanilla/Coconut Lovers!

This was a blind purchase for me. I love JHAG line of perfumes and my scent is ANYTHING vanilla dominant, I'll love. Figured I couldn't go wrong with this one... and I was right!First off, the bottle is beautiful and the colours of the bottle compliment the scent. This scent reminds me of a warm summer day by the beach, straight up. A more mature vanilla perfume, the coconut wafts alongside the vanilla perfectly. This scent can just completely transport you to a beach vacation, sipping on a delicious coconut fruit drink, the smell of sunscreen soaking into your skin from the hot sun with the slight salty/beach scent floating by. This is a definite winner and if you're someone who likes vanilla... you'll love this. I find it's a gentle scent - not overpowering, not ... MoreThis was a blind purchase for me. Just sweetly lingers even if you can't smell it very strongly on yourself, you'll waft this delicious smell as you walk by people. To me, vanilla is a year-round scent for me but I'd say this perfume would be best suited to summer (just because it's very beachy smelling to me!)I'd highly recommend this perfume to anyone wanting a more mature, vanilla scent. I LOVE it!

Great everyday scent!

I’d like to begin by saying that I am typically very picky with perfumes because very often I get headaches or feel like the scent makes me need to pass out lol I received this perfume in exchange for an honest review from Influenster and I actually really love it. I definitely would say that one spray goes a long way, two sprays is too much for me at least. But that one spray is amazing. I sprayed it at first on my wrist and noticed when I smelled it up close that it did give off a little bit of a Play-Doh type scent, but that’s just the initial spray immediately, it goes away and it smells like a vanilla warm hug lol it’s not too sweet it doesn’t smell like a bath and Bodyworks candle the food type of smell you’d expect from vanilla isn’t there because it’s cut by ... MoreI’d like to begin by saying that I am typically very picky with perfumes because very often I get headaches or feel like the scent makes me need to pass out lol I received this perfume in exchange for an honest review from Influenster and I actually really love it. It’s very subtle it’s almost like a soft vanilla. It makes me feel like I just left the beach and I’m tan with sea salt in my hair. However, I would say that I would wear this scent all year around likely not just summer. It does not fade Quickly and I do get a lot of compliments when I wear it. I will keep this perfume in my lineup that’s made the cut!

Warm but Light

I was rather pleasantly surprised by this scent! I usually go for more florals as I find sweet notes like vanilla too heavy, but this one has a lighter note underneath the vanilla that makes it much more appealing. It’s really an interesting and complex scent. Of course body chemistry makes it smell slightly different on everyone (I like it better on my mom than myself honestly) but if you’re looking to explore sweeter scents this is definitely a great starting point. It’s not the longest lasting perfume I own, but you’ll get maybe a half day out of it. Definitely enough for like an event or something. I also can’t get over the packaging! Personally it’s still not my all-time favorite, but it’s definitely got me broadening my horizons.
