We had a movie / game day. 3 kids, aged 8&9 played and quite enjoyed."PH" age 9 and "SWM" age 9 both said lets play again as soon as the game was won for the 1st time."EH" age 8, said ot was fun and adventurous"PH" & "SWM" bot agreed that Junamji was sooo much fun to play, the challenges were indeed a challenge. "SWM" says the 3 second handstand was really hard to do without laughing along with everyone else.Overall it was a great day. I would definitely purchase this as a gift set if it were available as a movie/game combination.

I bought this as a family Christmas present. We played it for the first time tonight (December 26). We had a blast! We were laughing as we tried to finish our challenges before the timer ran out. My 5-year-old granddaughter played with us. She needed a lot of help (game recommends 8 ) but she had a great time as well. I’m thinking about getting one for my son and his family.

For only $20 I was not expecting this game.First, it was pretty nice quality. The riddle reader was only cardboard but it worked out and overall I was impressed with the quality.Second, This game was way funner than I anticipated. My fifteen year old did quit pretty early on, but he has never seen the original movie and was not “getting” the point. Plus , he was getting over heated because the game kept having us put layers of clothes on.However, my 12 year old had an absolute blast and I would have to say this might of been the funnest game I’ve ever played. If you actually try and do all the things it was so entertaining, we were laughing the entire time. Jumanjii the game is a game for the whole family to enjoy and provides great family bonding time! We had the opportunity to play in teams of two with the objective of trying to reach the centre of the game board and calling out Jumanji! Along the way there are riddles and challenge cards that makes you really get to be apart of the game which adds to the enjoyment of the game! I also really liked this game version as it is the wooden box edition which makes it easier to store and the box is less likely to get ruined. I would recommend this game to any family looking for a fun adventure on family game night as I think youll really enjoy it as we did!

The only issue I had was the green bubble that you use to read the cards. It was still very difficult to read when the cards were inserted. Wondering if maybe they can improve upon that in the future ?The little activities you had to do were hilarious. Bought this without having seen the movie so wasn't sure what to expect. Did not realise it involves so many physical challenges. But actually my partner and I had fun playing it. Would be hard for older or people with physical limitations to play. Also the clues are really hard to read on the cards. A good thing about is it encourages team work. The wooden board box is a nice feature.
My daughter had a lot of fun playing Jumanji, as did I. My only complaint is that we found the cards super hard to read. Other than that it was really fun having to act things out and make up stories. This game was very interactive and enjoyable for adults and children. We made an entire night of it, Jumanji movies and Game, we played more than once. I found that playing with 2 dice, the game ends quickly. You are given the option to play with just one dice. I absolutely love that it's wooden and opens up like the game in the movie! It definitely brings the adventure to life. Young or old, this game is for everyone.
Useless 'dome' that isn't a dome, has no light and therefore you have to work very hard and find a very bright light around the house to read the riddles. I would not recommend this version to anyone at any time. I would give negative rating if I could. Had I know that this manufacturer sacrificed the ability to play the game in order to claim it was in a "real wooden box" I would have absolutely sacrificed the box.
Purchased this game for my younger brother. Love the wooden case and layout of game. I think it’s going to take quite a few turns to finally understand the rules, lol, but thankfully there’s a clear and detailed instruction sheet. Lots of aspects to game play, so no one would ever say it was dull, and would keep everyone engaged for ages. Not a quick game though! Make sure you set aside a good chunk of time to play this one! A very enjoyable purchase.
