I've had a few round plate BBQ 's over the years, all great value, good performers. Never have I had one that bleeds thick black sludgy paint. Since proving the plate as per instructions I have scrubbed it four times with hot water and detergent and the inky paint keeps coming. Again, according to the instructions, the black paint 'may' come of over time but doesn't affect the taste. Well, it does have a taste and and it ruins the food. Awful.
Bought this for convenience it actually spoilt our meals the meat was covered in black paint or something. I can't believe they sell stuff like this it surely hasn't been quality tested (except by consumers)
I bought this online because I could not buy a 2 Burner on line. This BBQ did not come with a regulator requiring me to go into the store after collection. Then I found the 2 Burner I really wanted which was not available online for click and collect., that has a regulator and so I returned this straight away and bought the 2 Burner which is very good value. Bunnings on line store is very limited.
I’m disappointed in this product there is no labelling Or information about not being suitable for standard 8kg gas bottle the gentleman that served me when I returned to find a suitable regulator recommended buy a 4kg bottle to bbq when I have 4 bottles at home all I was after was a small get away bbq I hope they except my return tomorrow.
Great cheap little bbq that does the job. Had to give it a good scrub with a metal bbq cleaning brush the first 2 times l used it to get the protective paint coating off but other than that very happy with it.
I bought this last week and it didn't co.e with a regulator so we couldn't use it as we couldn't find the piece at bunnings. We ended out just using the plate on a gas stove. Do not recommend this at all
I wish I had read the reviews before we purchased this bbq, we go to the effort to make nice food to cook on it and no matter the scrubbing in continues to leave black grease all over the food and makes it taste terrible.
