I would not recommend to buy this machine. We got one for $6K. After one year of a pleasant coffee from this machine, the machine sent us an error message "Empty Drip Tray". It did not went away not matter what we did (customer service of Jura suggested us to use a tooth brash or sand paper to clean electrical connectors. Needless to say - no brash and no sand paper or other means were in service kit delivered with Jura. Also, these tools did not help much. So, I had to send the machine for repair (it required from me to pack the machine and bring it to the UPS or Fedex). We have owned Jura S8/S9T since 2005. I purchased the Giga 6 for my wife as a special birthday present. We still have our 9T and after 8600 cups made it still works well. The 6 had an immediate problem with a leaking tray. It was mitigated by Jura’s replacement. Since then it performs perfectly.My wife absolutely loves the new machine. So much so that she hardly lets me near it. She wants to make the coffee. It is very quiet when grinding the beans and takes much less time grinding than the 9t. Fortunately, and I haven't seen this discussed for the Giga 6, you can set the left and right hoppers to different grinds. A few minutes reprogramming the sources of beans (default is 50/50 from each hopper) for different types of drinks and everyone was satisfied. A "coffee" tastes like a coffee and espresso drinks are wonderfully rich.My wife freaked when she found out how much I had spent on a new coffee machine but now she is making her own latte macchiatos and loves it. On demand, coffee of your choice. Heats up really fast, and drinks can easily be customized. After 24 years with various semi-automatics, and a stove-top Atomic before that--I'm a convert.

So far the machine is making great coffee drinks.I don't like not being able to customize the beverage other than with the preset ingredients. The cappuccino is preset with espresso and hot milk, no milk foam. To add the foam, I had to customize another beverage and rename it.Paying money to add outdated limited wifi capability is ridiculous! It sucks to have to log my phone in on 2.4gh wifi to communicate with this machine when the rest of the household items are on 5gh. Even the cheap Chinese electronics have up to date wifi capabilities included in the price.
I received my refurbished Giga 6 yesterday and am very unhappy. During assembly i have identified the following issues:1. The drip tray has had part of the back torn off so that it does NOT attach securely to the machine, PLUS as the back is open it leaks. I have a video that I can forward.2. The attachment that is meant to secure the water filter is too short for the tank and is currently floating in the water.3. The service panel for the back of the machine does not stay in place, when i insert it, it flops open again.Admittedly, I am not a mechanic, but I am able to follow instructions and have assembled other devices for my home. I am appalled at the condition of this machine and would like it replaced forthwith.Respectfully,Melissa Dinolfo

My experience has been pretty disappointing so far between the shipping issues (UPS was awful and Jura did not really have an ability to help) and the machine arriving damaged.I saw reviews about the drip tray cracking easily so I carefully unboxed the machine with the provided video. The drip tray was severely cracked, had a few coffee beans in it, and a plastic piece that chipped off the drip tray.Now, after a 10 day delay in shipping and no meaningful support from Jura on that, I have a machine that leaks. For this price point, this shouldn’t be an issue, especially as known as it is.Definitely regretting my purchase, at least so far. Almost a year ago I purchased a Jura Z10 for our home up north, and really liked it. So later when we went down to Florida for the winter season, I wanted another one for our winter home. I was going to buy another Z10, but the GIGA 6 had come out as the new high end machine, so I bought the GIGA 6. I wish I had purchased another Z10. It is a much better value. The problems I have over and over with the GIGA are: 1) the milk system constantly clogs and has to be taken apart and cleaned in order to work, much more often than the Z10, and so much so that I’m now making more regular coffees and less cafe lattes. We have been using the Jura Giga 6, and loving it for several months now! It works flawlessly. Besides settings in the coffee programs, you can change bean strength, milk and water amounts on the fly, if you wish. The feature I like most is the fact that using the phone app, I can order my coffee from my phone or watch remotely. But of course you have to have your cup in place! We have used several Jura machines in the past, giving them to family when we wanted newer features. We loved and used for many years the Z5, Z7 and the Z8 too! Jura has always made the highest quality coffee machines!
I had high expectations for this machine, but it exceeded even those! I am absolutely in love with this coffee machine, and I am finding I am drinking even more coffee than usual. Fortunately with the two grinders, I am able to switch to decaf after my allotted two caffeinated cups in the morning. My only criticism is I had thought it would be easier to change the grind and switch between regular and decaf on the machine itself. The grind seems to be set globally for all coffees. Have figured out how to switch between regular and decaf but it was not intuitive. I am going to arrange a session with a Jura Live consultant to make sure I am taking advantage of all the features and perhaps find easier ways of modifying those settings. I am able to set up the machine in the morning in just a couple of minutes (mainly putting fresh milk into the milk cooler and pressing the power button on the coffee machine) and do the daily cleaning in 5-10 minutes at night after the last coffee of the day. The Jura app is absolutely essential. This was the first time I had ordered anything from Neiman Marcus as well, and they were so helpful. I received my coffee maker the same week I ordered it! I am very, very happy.
We do love the coffee the machine makes. Our trouble has been with the machine - the first one didn't work at all (replaced), the on-off button is inconvenient, and lifting the top piece to insert the cleaning tab is inconvenient. Now that I learned that after removing the drip tray assembly, I needed to find the flap that hangs down from the ceiling and wipe off the silver dollar metal piece (tamping screen), it has been working ok. Sadly, I don't have confidence in the machine and feel like any day it will stop working well. But, the coffee is good, and it worked well today! So, we do love the coffee!
