This toy is near perfect! A decent sized Tyrannosaurs Rex with great articulation. Great detail all around. The battle damage is on both sides that can be flipped on or off with a switch on it's back. Seems tough enough to take a few big hits too. Priced at $19.98 when purchased which is a great value for the toy. My son absolutely loves this trex. out of all of his dinos this is his favorite by far which is awesome but also difficult. because I have had to buy 3 now and all the the heads have snapped in half .. and when this happens we have a total melt down. because I can't fix his favorite trex now. and it is getting harder and harder for me to find replacements for when these break ... I love the detail. and love seeing his face light up when he is playing g with his favorite trex. but having to go through the heart break. when it's head breaks in half is gut wrenching. can we try to make the heads stronger please ??

My son is obsessed with this T-Rex toy! It was super easy to assemble (the tail basically just snaps in place). He loves that the button on the back will expose the wounds. As a parent, I really appreciate that this toy doesn't make noise. It gives my child the chance to really be imaginative in his play...making up voices and sounds himself. This is a decent size (would make a good stand alone gift) and the figure does stand on its own which is always a plus for dinosaurs!
This came just in time for my dinosaur-crazy 3 year old’s birthday. He was super excited to open this and started playing immediately. He especially likes the scratches on the side and pushing the button to change them to red and back. This has become a popular choice when he wants to play dinos. The only negative is that the tail pops off pretty easily and he can’t get it back on himself, so it can be frustrating to put the tail back on every few minutes, lol.
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. My son is almost six and was excited to play with this dinosaur. It’s easy to unbox and only required one step to click the tail onto the body. It looks impressive with the details of the texture of the skin and even inside the mouth looks realistic. There is a button on the back that makes it look like a scratch appears on both sides of the dinosaur. The mouth opens and closes and the head, arms and legs move, but other than that it doesn’t do anything else. My son was hoping it would roar or do anything. Overall he does enjoy it, but it’s not his favorite toy.
My son (7) thought the dinosaur was very cool because it changed looks when you pressed the button on the back. Either the dinosaur could be normal or look injured with scratches. The details were great and the mobility of the toy was great. The button was easy to use for little fingers, the dinosaurs mouth opened, and limbs could be easily moved. The articulation of the neck and tail were also quite enjoyable. My son had fun imagining dinosaurs were real with this toy and will be playing with it for a long while because of how cool it is!
My 7 (almost 8) year old is obsessed with Jurassic Park/World/Camp Cretaceous. He really likes the scar feature. And us parents like that it doesn’t make noise! He really likes to do different battles with all his dinosaurs, so the scar/damage feature works great for his pretend play. Kind of high price point ($20) considering it doesn’t “do” much, but seems to be great quality and will hopefully last years.
My son has had a blast with this trex. Its mouth opens and closes so he can fight with other dinosaurs. It had a button where it shows a scratch on its side or it disappears. My son thought it was so cool. The legs move as well. He has had so much fun playing with this toy its endless fun. Its very durable and has great features. I would highly recommend this toy.
