My boys have been playing with the Jurassic Pachycephalosaurus for a week now. When received it was smaller than I was expecting, but still a good size especially for a toddler to travel in the car with. What is unique about this toy is all the “joints” it has. The wrists, knees, arms, and even tiny little mouth move. My 4 year old thinks this is a neat feature, however my 2 year old finds it very frustrating. Unless the joints are set perfectly, it’s difficult for the dinosaur to remain standing. The tail is also removable so keep an eye on that, as we have misplaced ours several times now. Overall I’d recommend the little Dino for children 5+. It’s a fun toy to bring on outings, and the joints are fun to move. We’d purchase others to add to our Jurassic collection.

First, the toy itself is very sturdy and a great size for little hands. The mouth opens and closes and the legs and tail can also be manipulated for imaginative play. Held my son’s attention very well. That’s the good parts. The things I wasn’t too keen on was the that tail and legs are detachable so if you have a really young one who likes to put things in their mouth this can be a choking hazard. And I haaaated the way the legs were attached into the plastic blister packaging. It was nearly impossible for me to get out.

I gave this dinosaur to my 7 year old nephew, as he's a dinosaur nut.He has both the 3 3/4 in and 6 inch lines. This is part of the 3 3/4 line. This is a higher end product, as it has ultra detailed packaging and the toy itself has tons of points of articulation. I can't believe that even it's little mouth opens. Not only do the legs go up and down, they also spread out a little, very rare articulation. Even his wrists move. It's amazing how far they've come with this line. My nephew played with this all night.

Hammond Collection Jurassic Park’s pachycephalosaurus is phenomenal! The coloring of the dinosaur is realistic. There are all sorts of bendable parts on this dinosaur. The dinosaur can stand on its own without help. Very easy to use and a great addition to any Jurassic Collection!!!
This dino is a perfect addition to our dinosaur collection! My boys have enjoyed how this dino has so many moving parts. The joints are very flexible at many points, particularly the arms, and it can act like it's grabbing something with its arms or picking something up. The tail comes detatched, and was easy to attach. It's very durable and will hold up to my boys no problem.
This "headbutting dinosaur" as my son likes to call it was a win. It's one of the smaller dinosaurs, so perfect for handheld play. Its arms ans legs move. It even has elbow joints so u can position the lower arms/hands how you want. The feet also can move separate from the legs as well. That makes it perfect for positioning the dinosaur in many different poses. The neck also moves & the head.
This is a very well detailed figure that offers vast flexibility for posing. This let's yourself or your little dino fans greater range for setting up a scene. We love how even at this scale, the dino has a mouth that can be be opened! With the range of flexibility, it is still able to stand upright in various poses!
My boys love dinosaurs, so we were excited to receive this item. They were thrilled that the limbs were moveable, as that isn’t a trait many toy dinosaurs have; it really allowed them to explore their imagination picking up other dinosaurs or people, the free range limbs were easy to adjust and sturdy once placed in stance. Placing it to freely stand was a bit difficult for them to do, as you have to adjust the legs just so; otherwise it falls over. (Ages 3 and 5) overall the toy was very durable and withheld hours of rough play, the details were excellent; very realistic. We really appreciated the removable tail, it was easy to take on the go; and able to properly fit and zip in bookbag/diaper bag. We would definitely purchase this item as an add on to our ... MoreMy boys love dinosaurs, so we were excited to receive this item. We would definitely purchase this item as an add on to our collection, but after observing the boys playing with it; I would definitely consider this as an add on or accessory, as the boys didn’t play with much on its own. Just a suggestion, if considering this as a gift.
In the words of my child, “It looks so real!” It really is amazing how realistic this dinosaur is. It has so many movable joints to manipulate including the feet. My kiddo loves that the tail comes off as she frequently creates battles between her dinosaurs. The tail is always the first to go. Lol. It’s mouth opens and closes and it even stands up on its own. Great quality. Even went to my go to big box store to order one for a relative and they were sold out. I see why! Great size to bring in the car and travel with. Ours has been to 6 states and still hasn’t lost its appeal. Another thing that I like about it is that it’s waterproof. There aren’t any weird holes that some toys have that causes it to hold water. It’s been through quite a lot and is very durable. Even my oldest child has enjoyed playing dinosaurs with his younger sibling. This line of dinosaurs is a great way for kids to learn about the “not so common” named dinosaurs and peak their interest. I’m sure I’ll end up having to buy the whole collection eventually. At least I’m getting my moneys worth.
The Jurassic World Lost World: Jurassic Park Dinosaur Figure Pachycephalosaurus is a pretty cool little dinosaur. It's claws and arms all reticulate, allowing for tons of different poses. Its a very solid toy and if the legs or claws happen to pop off they are super easy to pop back on. The dino does take some pretty rough play and the legs, etc stay on very well. It's mouth even opens up. The tail is poseable. My 7 year old enjoyed putting it into battle with the rest of his Jurassic World toys!
