Bought for the lil one who enjoyed some of the songs adult ones mostly, she didnt like the kids ones said they were boring, bit disappointing that you have to pay for extra subscriptions hence the 2* rating. Put me off getting new one, not a pop fan and more subscriptions on the new one. Majority of the songs all sexualised so its not appropriate for a 5yr old IMO. But you do you, it's a big NO from me and never again, rather just put our own tunes on and dance around.

If you like throwing your phone or have tremendous grip, go for it. If you like to do well without trying, buy it. If you have move controllers, a foldable phone, or want to legitimately play it to develop some sort of skill, go elsewhere. I bought this digitally from PlayStation and all I can say is I'm glad I bought 2021 physically. When I'm not trying to accidentally throw my phone or activate my hinge sensor, I'm noticing it doesn't care how my phone moves. I just need to shake it. Not even in tandem with the music or the character on the screen. I just want to use my move controller. I dont even care if I need to use the VR headset.

Just Dance 2022 is my re-entry to the series since the first title came out in 2009. The series has changed some over the years, but its just as fun as I remember. This game will definitely get you sweating, and I love using it for exercise. Much more entertaining than traditional cardio.. The Nintendo Switch version was the way to go for me because of the portability and ease of use. You can sync up to 6 joycons at a time, so this is great for parties or family gatherings. There is also an option to play with smartphones instead of joycons. The reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because this game's base song library is pretty lacking (43 songs). I personally don't appreciate that, but that is unfortunately how things go in the gaming industry right now. Overall, I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun way to get their body moving.

I got this to help with working out at home. I switch it up with my other workout game. It really does make you work up a sweat if you’re constantly doing it for a good 30-45 min. It’s just another way to keep our bodies moving at home. However, it comes with such limited songs/dances and most I’ve never heard of. I did get the 30 day trial subscription to access the full song list which has hundreds of songs. I hate that it’s an extra $25 for a years subscription but I’ll most likely pay it when the trial is over because it has some great songs and dance options. The only consolation of paying this is that I got the actual game for cheap (~$8). But could never imagine paying for it full price with no songs available.
I was unsure how much I would enjoy this game on the Nintendo Switch with the motion sensors. First off, I had trouble with it picking up the motion when I was playing on the non-kid mode. Secondly, I bought this to play with my kiddo. I like how there is a kid option that doesn't knock off points or discourage kids from being active and dancing. That was really the only plus that I found from buying this game. I was also disappointed that the menus were so confusing and seemed to always take me back to the "pay to play" songs.
I'm pretty sure that game would be great if I could get it to work. When I specifically asked about this in the store, I was told that it just links up with your Xbox Live account. What they don't tell you is that you need a Ubisoft account in order for it to "link up" with your Xbox Live account... which you have to create. For whatever reason, my daughter is unable to create an account to link up with her profile. No explanation as to why though. I'm assming it's her age which I also asked about. So, now I have to have her use my profile on the Xbox to play this game and use my Ubisoft account. Okay, it sucks but whatever. I can play the game right? Nope. Now I need to install a separate app on my phone to use as the controller, which I asked about as well. I was ... MoreI'm pretty sure that game would be great if I could get it to work. So now I have a 10-year old signed into my Xbox account, dancing with my $1000+ dollar phone... Luckily, the phone app won't connect to the Xbox so the game won't work anyways.
I got the game on sale for $15. Had I paid any more than that it wouldn't have been worth it, given that the whole game is modeled towards getting your kids to beg you for a subscription to Just Dance Unlimited. You literally every two or three songs you get an unskippable 30 second ad for Just Dance Unlimited. The amount of song was present in the base game is pitiful. Probably 90% of every song in the menu is unavailable unless you get JDU. If you will play the game often enough to warrant getting JDU I would recommend it. It gives you access to nearly every song they've ever done. However I think in-game ads are extremely distasteful in a game that I paid for.
A little over 2 years ago my son went through cancer treatment. We had to be gone for 2 months from our home. While we were gone someone robbed our home and stole all his Wii games among other things in our home. This game is hard to find. He had so many games and Nintendo DSI & 64 an IPad that was taken as well. We are slowly trying to find and get some of the items replaced. It was his birthday last month. Some other family member had this game and they played it at the party. I asked him if he missed playing this game when I found it here. He said yes so I had already purchased it from you. Thanks for the item. My son has had a rough 2 years with 2 bouts of cancer. Things are looking good for him now.
Super fun and brings me back to old times of playing Just Dance when I was young. It is a bit disappointing having such a short playlist - 10 songs were unusable since they were for young kids. It really makes you want to buy the yearly subscription to access more songs, so you don't get bored after a while. I would not pay full price for the game, but it did definitely get my siblings active and distracted for a good month, so it was definitely worth it at a discount! Also, super fun to have at a hangout with friends. I'm a young adult so playing this while drunk is an even better experience as people get competitive! Note: Not all songs will be hits from 2022, some are wayyyy older hits.
price was awesome. my three older girls have gotten this game since 2019 and love it. if youve ever played any of these before then nothing new to report to you. songs are mostly good and contain a lot of popular current ones. its also a fun way to burn some calories and work up a quick sweat. what i really like to do, though, is when im home by myself i dim the lights, crank the volume up, roll up into a ball on the floor, and cry because im home alone at 8pm on a saturday playing just dance and eating pizza rolls. wouldve given it 5 stars but its hard to stay depressed when baby shark starts playing. grandpa shark is my homeboy.
