I use it differently than the instructions. If you follow the directions, you will have to buy a new tube every month. What I do is wet my hair in the kitchen sink and apply the shampoo and leave it in for ten minutes. That way I only have to use it once or twice a week. The tube will now last about 4 to 5 months.In addition, I have written a free eBook on Amazon kindle on how to grow back your hair. Type in Henry Frattaroli in the search bar and it will come up. I have been doing it for a year and it works.

For some reason I've seen the grey reducing effect much faster than advertised and anticipated -- after the 3rd wash my hair already reached my desired color of mostly pepper with a bit of salt. I did leave the product in the hair for about 3 minutes (rather than 1 as instructed). Since the quantity is not generous, this makes product even more worth while. The price is a bit steep for the quantity, hence the 1 point reduction.

At first, I really liked what this did for my gray hair. However, I found that I have to use nitrile gloves with each application to avoid staining my fingernails. Over time, this became somewhat of a nuisance. Also, I can't tell whether this product causes more hair fall than usual, which is a troublesome aspect of continually using it. In the end, I'd rather switch to another product that's single use instead of something I have to use for weeks to get a decent result. Lastly, it does cause a bit of scalp irritation, and the scent is not for everyone.

I used it and I never used a hair color shampoo and I used this a week so far and I see the difference already and I am happy to say it works and I didn't believe it would but it made me a believer! Now just use it and shampoo one day to the next it works! My 2 week I used it gave me the results I was looking for! Just need another week to get it where I like it and I be happy to see better results! The product is great just need to let it work atleast 3 weeks and you get amazed how well it turns out! Thanks alot for a great product! I buy more in the future!

I noticed once a finger nail had a bit of stain, so I was just more careful to not use my fingers to apply the shampoo and haven't had a problem since with staining. When you use a hair color to get rid of those unsightly gray hairs, your hair usually has a brassy look that takes at least a week or two to wash out and finally look like your normal hair color. With this shampoo, you do not get any brassy look, or anything unnatural. You simply shampoo your hair like normal, and within a week the grays get colored in and your hair looks normal. Once you get your hair back to it's proper color, just shampoo once or twice a week with this to keep the roots looking natural. I strongly recommend this product!
I have been using Control GX for 6 months now. I have Black hair and keep it short and get a haircut ever 2 weeks. It took about 3 weeks before I noticed anything using it once per day so I use it twice per day most days of the week and the results were better. The only problem is that my hair grows fast and what gets colored gets cut off every two weeks so It never fully darkens my hair so it's completely Black. I think Just For Men should make a stronger/better formula for Black Men/Black hair.

decent compared to similar products. starts to work after 3-4 washes. washes away after 4-5 days. seems to be fine despite my sensitive skin. comes at a lighter shade of brown, so use with caution if you have dark hair. doesn’t seem to do very well in the cleaning part though
