I like to get the Just for Men hair color to cover my greys before dying it Chocolate Cherry Brown...otherwise the dye makes my greys bright pink. I bought this for that purpose, and I swear it did not work at all. There was no difference and now I am out money because if I want to dye my hair burgundy I am going to have to by the more traditional Just for Men and damage my hair by dying it 3 times in a very short period of time.

I'm 35 years old and this is my first time using any hair coloring product. I developed some grey on my sides only. I figured, what the heck, why not give Just for Men a shot. Worked wonderfully. Super easy and I got great results. Used Dark Blonde A 15. Next time I may try Sandy Blonde. I was only going to use on my sides where the grey was, but I figured why not try all of my hair so that it is properly blended. It actually made my hair ever so slightly darker, but that's OK, it still looks very, very natural. Color is very even throughout. As far as application goes, you have to squeeze and apply a liberal amount of product on your hair as your combing it through and make sure you're doing it evenly. To the other reviewers who said you had a lot of grey left, it sounds like you did not apply enough product on those areas. Do it more than once. Apply, comb, then apply more and comb through again. Then leave it on the full 10 minutes AFTER you finish. Product got most of my greys on my sides, probably 90%, to the point they are not noticeable unless you are within 2 feet of me. Thank you Just for Men. I will be using your product for life!!!! (or as long as I still have my hair!!) Also my hair feels great afterwards. Make sure and shampoo thoroughly.

Ok, I'm a guy and I'm apparently vain. I got this because my hair was graying badly and I wanted to look younger. So on a whim I bought this thinking it probably wouldn't do much. Boy was I wrong. I applied it to my hair (and, I know they make a separate product but I put this on my mustache as well) and when you put it on it doesn't look like it's going to do much. I waited the ten minutes it said and got in the shower to rinise it out. When I got back out and looked in the mirror, I was stunned. My hair was back to it's dark brown color, as well as my mustache. Imagine my surprise when I looked into the mirror and found I looked 10 years younger. If you want to get rid of the gray, I'd suggest this!

I have used this hair color for a number of years. At first my scalp would break out. But us guys don't have too much to choose from. So I continued to apply it every few weeks or so. Yes it might iterate your skin at first. If you have a problem with it don't use too much. Build up to larger applications over time. Let your skin get accustomed to it. The color does look natural. It's now good for me. No problem.
A decently good hair dye. Looks natural. It does last reasonably long, although certainly not anything like six to eight weeks. Seems to be void of the harsher chemicals. It is difficult to do a diligent application within the ten minutes, especially if one wants to carefully wipe off that which gets on skin. So generally, with the longer application time, the colour ends up being more like a medium brown -- unless one finishes within the ten minutes application time. Thus, it is no wonder the company seemingly got rid of the "Autostop" designation on its latest version. Nonetheless, it still does make mention of "not going too dark." I gather "too dark" is in the eyes of the beholder. In any case, I use it for my medium colored brown hair to darken the graying. ... MoreA decently good hair dye. Looks natural. I bought this product to see if it would be easier than the shampoo with just a nozzle. The comb seemed like a great idea but no. It is tiny and when you squeeze the product it splatters out of the comb. I tried it slowly but it did not comb through. It also seemed very messy and took alot of cleanup. The gloves were different and I thought I would never get the color cleaned up. I finally just squeezed all of the color out and shampooed in. Then took a regular comb to even it out. The color was ok but even showering it out seemed very messy. E for Effort but I will stick to the shampoo in without the comb. Very disappointing.
I have been using JFM for about 2 years. I follow the instructions to the Letter. I Always get the same result. Initially, most of the gray I have does get covered. Some hairs here and there seem to stay Gray. Every single time I use it, the gray comes back slowly and progressively until most is back after about 1.5 weeks. I always use shampoo for Color treated hair as recommended. It seems like only the outside of the hair Shaft gets colored. There is no penetration inside the hair shaft. Normal wear and tear seems to rub off the color, a little each day. I have to wrap my pillow in a towel, or my pillow gets color rubbed on to it day after day. Also, I ALWAYS leave it in my hair for at least 10 minutes after the application is completed. I really don't think I am doing anything wrong, and I am wasting tons of money. This product is not cheap. Is it possible there are hair types that this product just can't penetrate? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I am seriously considering searching the Internet for Men's Hair color made by someone else.
Ever since I saw a YouTube video of a beauty influencer I follow dying her brows with this stuff years ago I have been a fan. I have used the light-medium brown to darken my crazy light blonde brows for years to avoid needing to fill them in everyday. The hair on my head is dark blonde/ light brown and this truly matches perfectly. It looks natural, especially when I use a thin eyeshadow brush to get the perfect shape. I recently had “money piece” highlights added around my face and they were wayyy too blonde, so I gave this stuff a go, as it has never let me down before, and it perfectly fixed the color! I have extremely sensitive skin and I have never had a reaction to this stuff. As long as you fix any splatter on your skin fairly quickly it will not stain.
Easy to apply. Easy instructions. Works well. Color is as expected. It does say to leave it for 10 minutes but I've noticed for a better job (remove as much gray as possible), I need to leave it on a bit longer.Only two complaints:1. If you sweat heavily from exercise or heat, it can rub off a bit onto a hat or your pillow. Has happened twice.2. You must clean the applicator after each use and there's often a decent amount in the applicator that gets thrown away. Not a lot but more than I would like.
I have light brown hair and a lot of gray being 64 years of age and have used JFM for several years now in both the mix and auto stop versions. I have read poor reviews on the auto stop version saying it doesn't work. I don't try to use the product for several applications, I use the whole bottle first combing and then using the gloves to massage in to make sure I have front and back thoroughly covered. I use a paper towel to wipe any product on my ears, temple and neck after applying and waiting 10 minutes after stopping. I rinse it out and then shampoo and I am done. If you are making a mess that is an individual problem not a product problem. I don't make a mess and it works fine for me.
