I volunteered to receive a free sample and try it. I do not usually cover any gray, but I can see many times when a man might wish to cover some gray (like a job interview). The comb applicator was easy to use. I quickly adapted to using it without a lot of effort. Surprisingly, there was essentially no mess (easy clean up of small spots). The amount you apply determines how much gray is covered. Darkening continues about 1-2 days after application. I applied mine about a week ago, and it is still covering a considerable amount of gray. I would recommend this product to any man wishing to cover a bit of gray. I received free product for purposes of this review, but the review is entirely my own. This stuff works as advertised.

Got in shower the first time, rinsed, looked in mirror thorough shower curtain and it looked like it had worked. Shampooed and got out to find no color change at all. Thought it might have had to do with type of shampoo I'd used. Waited 24 hours and tried again. Rinsed and looked past shower curtain to find no color change again - s=despite not having used shampoo at all. Switched to "regular" and it worked great the first time - even using the same shampoo as I'd used the first time. Recommend getting "regular" and reducing the time you leave it on to leave a little gray in.

I'm naturally medium, strawberry blonde. My gray is a mix of silver and gray. I've used the regular Just for Men beard and mustache for years with very pretty great results. I gave the "Touch of Gray" a try and it seriously messed things up. It surely hit the gray (turning it far too dark), absolutely ignored the silver and left my natural hair a rather off tone. I had to purchase a medium blonde shade of the original Just for Men Beard to correct the blotchy job the Touch of Grey had left.A good idea, but it simply didn't work for me. Going through all the trouble of "repairing" what this product did didn't leave me terribly pleased.
This product in med-dark brown turned my gray beard a purple/ blue color! Now I have to either shave or go total dark to hide this awful blue. I’ve tried a couple different batches and same result. Don’t buy!!

I completely misunderstood the product thinking "Touch of Gray" was intended for men who wanted to get rid of a touch of gray (e.g. isolated gray hairs, patches, etc.) to retain their natural color (brown, in my case). Instead, it appears this is for men who prefer to blend out most, but not all, of the gray. That being said, I didn't get the expected result, but they probably have better products suited for removing all the gray.It was very easy to use, consisting of a small plastic tray, brush, and the product. I'm 64 years old, 5'11', 165 lbs. Naturally my beard is 100% gray/white. i use this product approximately every 10 days and the color is perfect, 90% light to medium brown/10% gray-ish. Most people think I'm in my mid to late 40's. The color is very close to the color on the box and looks absolutely natural. It's very easy to use (no mixing) and is very gentle on my sensitive skin (unlike all of the other beard products Just for Men makes). It's a life changer for me, looking younger makes me feel younger.
Used this in pinch to even out my beard tones . after it didnt work for the last time. I realized it was time to move on to the other product that might not have the name recognition but do the job and aren’t on the shelves
