does not enhance the colours as i thought it would. i thought it may be like the old Grolux tubes,i used many years ago, but my mistake.

Been looking to get this bulb for my tank for a while as it brings out the colour of my fish. Great price and well packaged.

Rattle rattle rattle. This filter is very noisy. After trying all the usual trapped air routines I discovered that it is actually the impeller fins tapping the housing. My Ecco Pro runs silently and has exactly the same design of head - although with a smaller motor and slightly smaller impeller fins - I switched the Ecco 200 impeller into the 300 head and it solved the problem. The problem is that with the smaller impeller fins it probably won’t make the maximum l/ph. Bad design Eheim!! Disappointed, Avoid!P.S. the Ecco Pro 200 is brilliant however!

Juwel colour LED Brings out the colour beatifully

Juwel colour LED brings out the colour in my discus beautifully and the plants love it too. Such a shame that this tube has to be bought separately, after spending almost 200 on the multilux light unit I then had spend another 50 on a softer light. This is wrong in my view.

Review of Juwel LED Colour MultiLux Bulbs

My tank started with the standard mix of Day and Nature tubes. These were far too bright and whilst plants grew well, so did algae and the colour rendering wasn't particularly attractive.A while ago I replaced the Day tube with a Colour tube and things certainly improved - colours were nicer and the light was softer and less bright. Plants still did well and algae reduced as the total brightness was lower. By swapping the tubes around I soon ascertained that problem algae was worse under the brighter Nature tube and colours looked decidedly dull compared to under the Colour tube.Accordingly I have replaced the Nature tube and now have two Colour tubes.
