This is my first variable ND filter I've ever owned. Surprisingly there's little to no information regarding K&F filters on this site. My research mostly was based on youtube and amazon. Here is my experience with it so far:The filter comes to a hard stop when turning to the minimum and maximum stops which avoids the dreaded X pattern you see on most variable ND filters. There doesn't seem to be any noticeable color cast which is nice. I found that if you're shooting outdoors on a sunny day at f2.8 or faster, the 5 stop maximum might not be dark enough to keep a proper exposure. I would've liked the filter to be a 2-6 stop rather than a 2-5 stop for those bright sunny days but I'm nitpicking at this point. Overall, I am very happy with the filter.
