I have tried several of the K18 products and I simply love them all. The Molecular Repair Hair Oil is one of them. It adds life to dull hair, leaving it manageable, beautiful and shiny only using a very little amount of product. I have also noticed that my hair doesn't tangle as easily as before. I have very long hair, with natural curls. It sometimes gets supper frizzy and wild making it almost impossible to comb without pulling and breaking it. This oil controls frizz to perfection and hydrates hair. Expensive, but worth it.

I had two perms last year, which left my naturally beautiful and shiny hair in really damaged and crusty condition. The first perm was done with rollers way too small, and it never relaxed out. I was left with the choice of dealing with straight roots and poodle ends, or, to re-perm it with bigger rollers in hopes of a more graceful grow-out phase. Or, option three, cut it all off. I'm getting married in September of 2023, so, I was trying to do everything I can to not do a big chop, and have my hair healthy and long before my wedding.My stylist recommended the K18 mask, after cutting my hair and assessing the damage that had been done from the second perm. I liked the mask so much that I also was interested in trying the oil, and I like it even more. It's great as a finishing touch when my hair is dry, as a refresher on day 2 hair. I like these applications more than applying on damp hair after showering, I think, but it is honestly great. Very pleased with my results so far, and I'm hoping to see even more benefits the longer I use both products.

The results I saw after one use of this hair oil were insanely amazing. First off, I saw several Tik Toks on this hair oil before purchasing - you HAVE to use this product on damp hair and not dry hair in order for the product to penetrate your hair to do the repairing that it promises to do. I have fine, color-damaged long hair and think using this on dry hair would be too heavy and leave my hair looking oily. A little product goes a long way. I have long hair and used 2 droppers and it was too much. This product will repair your hair, but it will also weigh it down, so keep that in mind. After one use on damp hair, my hair just felt healthier. My hair felt less tangled and softer as I brushed through it damp. This product is pricier than most hair oils, but I've tried many hair oils (Kerastase, Moroccan oil, Opalex, etc.) and the K18 hair oil did better than any of them. I'd purchase this again. Also - I don't use any other K18 products, I used this oil after using my usual hair routine, which does not include any other K18 products.

I used 3 drops (as directed) at the ends of my damp/towel-dried hair, before proceeding to style it. 3 drops weren't enough for my length and I had to apply more even after my hair was styled and dry. I noticed my ends to be more hydrated, less knotty, and frizzy. This hair oil also promises heat protection and can be used as styling oil. Lacklustre experience

It pains me to write this review as I would sacrifice my life for the K18 hair mask, but this product was absolutely awful for me. Tried it with the mask, alone, on wet hair, and as a finishing product on dry hair and every single time was unimpressive for a nearly hundred dollar hair oil. My hair looked like it had been washed and unconditioned and the blow dryed with a dollar store hair dryer when I used it on wet hair alone; absolutely no smoothing or softening or anything positive being done. My hair even smoked. Using it alongside the mask was nearly no better, hair still looked like a horses tail when using it… which it doesn’t when I use the mask alone. Luxury & Science Hair Oil

I have had great success with the original K18 leave in mask, so I was excited to try this oil. A word of warning, this is a very small bottle and a higher price point. I have used many hair oils and while this one is truly very nice, I would recommend it, but don’t think I would repurchase solely due to the cost. I also don’t really need anything extra besides the K18 mask. The oil works well on either damp or dry hair. It has a dropper and it’s easy to dispense way too much, so be sure to pay attention to the dropper. You only need a couple of drops, not a dropper full! I’m happy to continue using this oil, and I greatly appreciate that it doesn’t have silicones (seriously amazing) and it has top ingredients and heat protection. Nourishes Chemically Damaged Hair Back to Health

I have hair that has had a lot of chemical processing. I’m currently at the end of a dye cycle and a lot of the pigment is stripped; it’s at its most weak and sensitive state. I’ve been using the oil for about two weeks at 3x drops per use damp and 1-2x dry. The packaging is super cute. I love the color scheme of white and lemon yellow, it looks adorable on my shelf. Major praise to the designer of the bottle, which I definitely did drop and survived! I tried it out first on damp hair and did notice an immediate difference, but it wasn’t until a week of use that I noticed major changes. I could feel immediately that my hair’s texture seemed improved, as if it had a coating around it. I also saw noticeable improvement in shine and frizz. This is definitely a splurge type item, but it will last a long time. The highly concentrated formula means there’s a ton of product in there (as aforementioned, I dropped mine and still have plenty left). Typically the anti-frizz only works on about 50% of my hair and the rest of my hair is still frizzy. I know that after going out side, I can expect that it will all turn to frizz and uncontrollable curls and waves that look very unkempt. I was interested in K18 as I myself am a scientist and look for products that have solid clinical trials and ideally lab formulations. I do admit that I was very hesitant to try yet another frizz fighting serum, but this one really made a difference and it is actually long lasting as well. It looked smooth and pretty and so I decided for maximum frizz control to add another drop and rub it in my hands and apply to any areas that tend to frizz throughout the day. I was pleased to see that this did not leave a greasy or oily sheen to my hair, but rather a pretty smooth appearance. After a day at the beach in the heat and humidity, I was really impressed at the performance. This is a very highly concentrated product so a little dab will do you. I look forward to using it more and perhaps using a little more during the summer to keep things under control. The ends of my hair looked really smooth and shiny, which is always an area I have trouble with. Highly recommended!
