I have used many of these tires over the years on a lot of old British bikes. They are not the quality that they were when they were made in England but that is not to say that they are not good. They are. Can't believe the price increase over the last couple of years but welcome to America today.

It has the meaty look and classic design that is perfect for my cafe project. All the other aspects are secondary to the look and design. If I was looking for specific wet traction or grip, the tread design is a compromise. The design and look is what I was after when I purchased this product. I am aware of the potential short comings.jrd

Bought this for my '76 XS650 since I already had one on the rear. Definitely a cool look, but surprisingly more rough and bumpy on the road than the OE tire with traditional car-style treads. My bike is a true cafe racer bike in the way I use it, so it's fine, but if I road on the highways for longer distances then I'd be changing tires.

This tire was on my bike when I got it (74 cb550). I decided to swap it out for an identical replacement since I noticed some side wall cracks, after close inspection and 2000k of riding and not know how old the tire was. After receiving the new tire for comparison I realized the original was really worn out. Despite the wear it was great on dry, wet and gravel conditions. Never slipped or squirreled out on me. So the new one should kill it!
I ride vintage bikes - BSA and Triumph - and I like having tires that look like they're from the same era as the bikes. I'm certain that these don't match the performance of the best contemporary tires, but although they have a vintage tread pattern they are made with contemporary rubber compounds. I don't race, but I really enjoy winding roads and fast corners and have never felt that these tires have any shortcomings for the way I ride.
A great store! On time service and Steven mounts tires to rims for a good price , Never had a problem!
These look great on my Enfield, much better than the original Avon Speedmaster MkII. Will be replacing the rear next and plan on using this same Dunlop. Only downside is the 1 week turnaround time to get it mounted.
Just as good today as they were in the 70's, rides like a dream.
I had K-81s on my H1 Kawasaki and later on my BMW. In the 70s I raced that H1 on tracks in the Northeast with K-81s. They have always had good grip. Now restoring an old Triumph, they seemed to be the natural choice. These are not quite the original K81/TT 100 tread pattern. Revzilla had the best price anywhere.
I'm sorry but the front tire seems a lot narrow than original tire like the size has changed using same specs.
