I highly recommend this freeze dried topper since it is much more convenient and pleasant than feeding fresh tripe. It has all the beneficial enzymes amp; nutrients like raw tripe has but with a better shelf life. Not that it lasts too long around our house! This product keeps my dog's digestive tract naturally balanced.

Before I begin, I would like to say my cats aren't picky eaters. They've been eating dry food ever since they came from their rescue, which after all my research, is why I wanted to switch, but all other options short of homemade were very expensive for a very small amount of food. Most were meant to be ""toppers."" Then I found this. At first I was afraid that they wouldn't eat their veggies and that cats not liking chunks as mentioned in other reviews was a ""cat fact"" even though (or because) it didn't make any sense. All cats and cat owners have different personalities and preferences, so maybe this won't work for you. All cats and cat owners have different personalities and preferences, so maybe this won't work for you. But my cats had gotten to the point where they would do other things before eating and leave their meal multiple times. Now they rush to the bowl and hunker down until it's clean. They enjoy the chunks very much, and it's definitely closer to natural eating than crunching tiny dry shards. Sometimes they don't eat all of their vegetables, but what they leave behind is negligible, especially compared to the amount of kibble they happen to leave behind if I added any. My kitties have finally graduated dry food school. Now to see if the food will last as long as I thought... One downside is yes, the food is dehydrated, but it doesn't really expand much once it's hydrated. It probably gains the weight to be 9 lbs, but then again, I am feeding two cats. I also found the meat and veggies to be pretty balanced in the pack, so there wasn't need to separate anything out or to really shake the bag, but that was also an option.

I've been using it as treats and rewards for training for a few years. Easy to break and store in a treat bag, smell isn't that bad and the dogs love it. And to top it off it is healthy for them too!

My older dog has kidney disease and this is one of the few store bought treats she's able to have.It smells like a barn full of gassy cows but she loves it and it's good for her too.Very expensive for a bag of dried stinky stuff but worth it.
They're easy to break off and used as high value treats. Have recommended this to so many friends & so far every dog has gone crazy over this, even the fussiest ones! Smells but can put up with it
My pup is a picky eater and there are certain proteins like Turkey he doesn't like in his raw meal. He wouldn't even take one bite of the Turkey meal. But after I added this, he could finish half of his Turkey meal. Very impressed. But I do notice it gets soggy and not as fresh as just opened after a week or so. So make sure to consume this as soon as possible once open it. My dog loves green tripe but I hate the smell. This one has the smallest smell compared to other raw/wet food green tripes. At least it won't make your refrigerator smell like poop. Will come back and buy more.
I am very impressed with the price of the product I purchased and also the communication and service from your company. Product arrived earlier than I expected My little dog loves the lamb green tripe as a topping over her meals and as a healthy treat. I have recommended your company to my daughters and to my friends who are pet parents.
My little pups are a bit spoiled and used to a prepared meal made for them by my husband. Recently my husband took a career change that requires a lot of travel so feeding the pups falls to me -- a pet mama that doesn't cook! We did an inordinate amount of research on real organic pet foods and settled on K9 Natural. The transition has gone smoothly and even our dogs show handler has been impressed. The price point is an indication of the quality of the ingredients. When my in-laws gasp at what we spend on the pups food I remind them that you get what you pay for-- I don't want cancer causing GMOs or caged animal byproducts in my own food, why would I want those for my pups?
My pup is a Picky Eater. We switched her to a home-cooked diet a few months ago to help her keep weight on and it's worked wonderfully, so when we had a trip coming up we got a little worried about having no access to a fridge or cooking appliances for prepping her meals. We had K9 Natural recommended to us and we were a little uncertain - when I say my pup is picky, I mean it! This is a dog who will turn her nose up at bacon! I didn't have my hopes up about trying to get her to eat bagged food when she's accustomed to fresh, home-cooked meals... Luckily for us the pup loved this food! It was easy to prepare (a little smelly though) and pretty easy to clean up, too. 1 bag lasted the 4 days of our trip perfectly. I wouldn't consider this food as a regular diet, though, since the cost is pretty restrictive. The price of this bag is 3-4x what we would spend on home-cooked meals made up of fresh meat and veggies. We'll definitely pick up another bag the next time we're traveling with our dog, though.
I love this stuff so much, for anyone unsure of what tripe is it's the stomach and it's unbleached so it stinks really badly once you add water and squish it with a fork like I do.It brings old dogs to life which is an honestly honest claim as it brings Rusty to life every time I give it to him.Everyday I wake up he runs to my room, tail wagging his entire bottom and legs he can hardly walk straight, he leads me down the long corridor to the kitchen and awaits his meal of tripe and other K9 goodies mixed in with it, it takes me a little while to prepare it as its freeze dried, that's what the forks good for makes the process of soaking up the water go faster. Anyways I mix it all up, place it down, he eats it all within 1-2 mins and he's ready for another ... MoreI love this stuff so much, for anyone unsure of what tripe is it's the stomach and it's unbleached so it stinks really badly once you add water and squish it with a fork like I do.It brings old dogs to life which is an honestly honest claim as it brings Rusty to life every time I give it to him.Everyday I wake up he runs to my room, tail wagging his entire bottom and legs he can hardly walk straight, he leads me down the long corridor to the kitchen and awaits his meal of tripe and other K9 goodies mixed in with it, it takes me a little while to prepare it as its freeze dried, that's what the forks good for makes the process of soaking up the water go faster.
