I bought this 'small' smock for 3-5yo for my 2yo daughter. The elasticised collar couldn't even go over my 2yo daughter's head, let alone her 5yo old cousin. Waste of money unless your child is younger than three or has a small head.

As far as I know, the quality of this item is as good or better than others you can get, just basic plastic but does the job. It's a lot cheaper than I have seen it elsewhere!! This size was quite large for my 6yo, but he is very small for his age so it's probably true to size.

I purchased this for my grand daughter online. The smock itself is well made but the neck opening is way too small. Perhaps having a opening down the back would be a good change to the design.
These are not waterproof so paint still seeps through and stains the clothes below. Also the head hole is really small, it’s so tight for my kids to get over their (actually smaller than average-sized!) heads
I purchased this today and my daughter used it for painting. The fabric itself is very thin and covered on the inside in a thin, presumably water repellant layer. Hand washed the smock afterwards and hung it out to dry. The wet fabric of the sleeves stuck to itself and when I pulled the fabric apart, the water repellent layer came away from the fabric and now just looks like strands of glue over the fabric. An expensive buy for what was essentially a single use product. Save your money and buy something of better quality.
I originally purchased the medium smock however is absolutely swam on my 6 year olds. I swapped it for the small, which as you can see from the photo - clearly has inappropriate sizing. My hand only just fits through the hole for her head.
Bought this for my small 5 year old. Pack says fits 3-5 year olds, but I couldn’t even get it over my 19 month old’s head (and he’s smaller than average)
I purchased this for my 5 year old believing it was size 5-8, as stated on the website. It is way too small to fit over my 5 year olds head, and states on packaging ages 3-5. Fits my 3 year old but only just, the elastic is too small
The smock is fabulous! very generous in size, elastic wrist holes to stop any paint or glue getting on clothes.
