Item is in working order. I’ve used SC3 steamer (2nos.) & SC4 Steamer (2 nos.) before. Both SC3 were good, the 1st SC4 was used incorrectly filling-in with Dettol (by helper), which spoiled it after short-term use. The 2nd SC4 was used properly but spoiled within even shorter period of time. Steamer either couldn’t get heated up (which should show with colour indicator) after 10 or even 20 minutes or more; and/ or couldn’t spray steam, it sprayed water which was not hot. That defeated the purpose as I used it to steam mattresses & clothes whenever bed bugs bites are detected by anyone in the house. I would have liked it to be more powerful, because it failed to properly clean heavily soiled nooks and crannies in window frames. It did loosen most of the grime, however, making it much easier to finish the job manually.Still, it's perfect for 'normal' everyday cleaning - well-made, compact, and simple to use - all in all, good value for the price.

Brought this today and used it for the first time tonight.I steamed the kitchen blinds it took the geese straight off them.I steamed the kitchen floor and amazing results. Then moved on to the bathroom, the jet nozzle is so good for getting into the small places, small brush nozzle is also my other fav.Only thing that happened to me when using the small head with the cushion is that it starting to leak and then came good but it hasn't done it again. This was upon the first use of it.I will be cleaning my entire house with this one tool and never looking back.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. Easy to use and very effective. I like the fact that the steam is killing 99% of germs - being a bit of a germaphobe!Also, the floors look amazing - no streaks and dries quickly.Have so far also cleaned the shower cubicle - easy peasy. All in all a very good investment.
