I bought this on a whim as the car I’d just bought has blocked sunroof drains - I didn’t know about this until there was a huge puddle in the car. Typically it’s been heavily raining since and I’ve not been able to unblock the drains. So I bought the WD2 Plus from Argos as it was cheaper at £60 and picked it up the next day. It came with an easy-to-read manual and was simple to set up and use. It is quite nicely made and includes a filter, a filter bag, and attachments. You can also use it to blow, and it has a fairly strong suction. The power outlet is a convenient feature, especially if you want to use it in your shop where you can plug in tools. It is semi small enough to store easily, and the attachments have a spot to attach them to. The cord can be held in place by a hook, and the hose can be kept in place when not in use by a clip. I could not be any happier with this wet/dry vacuum. I have been re-doing my shop set up and this vacuum has been great at getting up sawdust and other debris. It was easy to set up and operate as well as it included an easy to read manual. It is very well built and comes with attachments, filter and a filter bag. It has a really good suction and you can also use it to blow as well. I like the yellow and black color and the overall design of the vacuum. I am a fan of Karcher and I do own a Karcher WD 3 vacuum cleaner that I bought about 10 years ago. It is still going strong with no issues. I needed another vacuum cleaner, so of course I went for Karcher, only this time I chose WD 2 Plus. I decided the old one would go to a workshop and the new one would be for house cleaning.Oh boy, I'm appalled by the poor quality and cost-cutting across the board.- In the third time of use (roughly 3rd week after purchase), the rubber piece in the head brush broke (see pictures).- Last week (roughly 3rd month after purchase), one of latches broke off (the latch that holds the top part and canister together), so now the handle cannot be used and taking the appliance upstairs and downstairs is a challenge.- Overall, everything ... It will lift quite large and heavy debris. It's yellow, so it can't hide in that cupboard that doesn't have a light. That's it, there is absolutely nothing more I can say about this that's good. BAD POINTS Firstly, it's tiny, so it doesn't take long to fill. Next, it's got a tiny filter bag, so you'd think Karcher might make emptying it a simple process. You'd be very sorely mistaken. Don't try to empty it indoors or you'll be having to fill the bag up again straight away, with everything that you spill. This wet/dry shop vac from Karcher is on the small side. But it is perfect for those that don’t have much space to store a lot of things. This vac works great and has awesome suction power. It comes with just about any attachment you will need to clean with. I like that to attach the different nozzles that they snap on easy and you have to push two side buttons to release them so you don’t have to worry about them falling off as you are cleaning. You do have to attach the wheels yourself but that is easy and simple and just takes seconds to do. The suction hose is a pretty good length . I like that to attach the different nozzles that they snap on easy and you have to push two side buttons to release them so you don’t have to worry about them falling off as you are cleaning. You do have to attach the wheels yourself but that is easy and simple and just takes seconds to do. The suction hose is a pretty good length . I had no problem at all while cleaning my car with it and it not stretching where I needed it to go. It is a 5 gallon vacuum and can pick up anything from dirt, rocks and liquid. Switching it from picking up wet or dry things is very easy. It has a flat pleated filter which makes it easy to clean and you aren’t coming in contact with a lot of dirt with it being pleated when it is time to change of clean the filter off. It does offer accessory storage on the unit so everything you need while using it is always in reach. The power cord can be wrapped around the the hook on the left side of it when you are ready to store the vacuum. It does come with a Fleece filter bag that installs easily into the container of the vac and help with dust retention. Like I said this is a small but mighty little vacuum and works wonderful on any job you won’t be dissatisfied with it at all.
Kärcher's wet/dry vacuum replaced our old one with no second thoughts at all. I am loving this one, because check out that 5.3 gallon container it has! Incredibly practical, this way I don't have to constantly empty it. Suction is great, thanks to the 1100 watt motor. Comes with a filter that mounts right up top, talk about convenience. The hose is 7.5 feet long. Color's a smiley yellow. All the hose nozzles neatly stored in their dedicated spots on the vacuum so I got what I need with me at all times. Listen if I am willing to handle our wet/dry vacuum instead of assigning my husband to it 100% - that says a lot about how incredibly easy it is to use without getting deep in grime, thanks to the thoughtful design. Absolutely happy with this one.
