Bought this as a gift for my mother and sister for when they come to visit the country during winter. I’ve purchased Heli light weight jacket from Kathmandu and all other jackets and they never disappoint. Not to mention lots of different promotions, which makes buying exciting. Will definitely buy more in the future.

This is a great warm jacket for in between seasons. I really love the colour and the fit is perfect. I don't like the lining of the pockets, which feels like plastic and I would have preferred a separate stuff bag, rather than using the built in pocket. Overall a great jacket and I look forward to using it in the UK later this year.

It hasn't been cold enough until today for me to try this jacket out, so I can't assess its water-repellence yet. The couple of drops I got on it just sat on top of the fabric, so that's promising, but it hasn't been in proper rain yet.I got this for travelling, and was so impressed to be able to pack it into one of its pockets. It ends up the size of a full pencil-case. It's advertised as lightweight, so it's not the warmest of down jackets. But I got it because I want it for travel mainly, so I'm prepared to add layers for warmth. I got the rosewood colour and it's lovely. The zip pockets are nice and secure for keys etc, and I also really wanted a hood for those unexpected showers. And the best thing -- no Velcro to catch on your woollies!

Fit is great but am disappointed with the amount of feathers coming out of this straight away and I've not even really worn it yet. I would've expected better. The feathers can't always be pulled back in. Not sure it's going to last long. I thought I'd get the best price in the black friday sales but have seen they've knocked another $30 off in the 2 weeks following?!
I did already have the Epiq (like everyone else on earth) and I think this is my new favourite. Less puffiness and same warmth. The slimmer profile is much more flattering for my petite frame. I purchased this jacket in the taupe and whilst the colour in person was vastly different to the picture online, I don’t hate it. It still works as a neutral piece which is why I wanted. The weight of the jacket is ideal for all the cooler seasons. It fits perfectly according to Kathmandu’s size guide with room to add layers underneath. Flattering cut & super comfy. Very happy with my purchase! Postage was fast and free.
Great light weight hooded jacket, nice tailored women's fit. Disappointed with the compression pack and go though - it's not quick and easy (on the women's version). Hubby got the men's version - size wise they're almost the same, but his compression pouch/pockets are larger so he can compress his much quicker - the women's compression pouch is a good inch less to fit the same amount of jacket into! I have an old Kathmandu puffer jacket and it folds away much more easily.
This jacket is ideal for zipping around running errands or going for a brisk walk. It definitely does not keep you as warm as epiq 600 fill jacket, and wouldn't be suitable for temperatures lower than around 10 degrees. It is quite thin, however does keep you warmer than expected. There are inside pockets (no zips) which are great, and a drawstring on the hem to help keep the cold out even more. I went for a larger size in order to give myself flexibility to bulk it up if I need to be a bit warmer. The features aren't as good as the epiq puffer, which has a zip on the inside pocket, a feature for your headphones and much more comfortable cuffs on the sleeves. This version does fold into the pocket and makes it great for travel however, and is very lightweight.
I wanted a mid-weight jacket to take on an overseas trip, where I needed to layer up. I already have a really warm and cosy calf length jacket, but wanted something that I could pack into nothing. Sadly, the reviews saying this jacket is warm are oh so not true. I even called the store and told them what I wanted the jacket for and they recommended the HELI.I test drove it before winter arrived - and no way is this jacket suitable to keep the cold at bay. Thank goodness I purchased it on sale, but it was still a waste of money, as I barely use it. I have no idea why they would even make a jacket like this - it is not useful at all.
Very disappointing with my recent purchase of this Heli down jacket. I used to love the old version so, bought this one again in different colours. However, although the price is increased but qualities are down tremendously. Duck down keeps coming out and the jacket is so thin. The purpose of down jacket is the provide you the warmth however this jacket is failed in doing so. Really hate it when seeing the feather coming off and leave traces everywhere I sit. Will not purchase again.
The first time I wore this I noticed the down fill poking out from a small hole in the arm. I tried to pull it out but that resulted in handfuls of down coming out. It’s unwearable as the down is stillpoking out. As it is, I will end up with a jacket with no down in it!I contacted customer service twice about my concern. After two weeks I am yet to receive a reply.Very poor quality. Poor customer service. Do not recommend. Very disappointing.
