Very happy with this. Super cosy when paired with light to medium jumper underneath, especially when weather is chilly. Perfect for wearing around the house, short bushwalk or ducking out to shops. Nice to have something warm to wear that isn’t a jacket. Order a size smaller than you usually would unless going for the oversize look.

My teenage son had outgrown his winter coat and was in need of a jacket that was warm and looked good. This jacket does the job well and for a good price. That is; it’s warm, comfy, and it looks good! Happy son! Happy mother!

Guessed the size XL as they were for my 15yr old Twin boys. They're just right with a little extra room for growth. Today was quiet cold and they wore them with just a Tee underneath, not tight or restricting. They love all the extra pockets and what we're assuming is a bottle holder/bag? Unsure what that's for but does fit their drink bottles in them.

I bought this for my son heading to the European winter with family. The quality is very poor the feathers are leaking out and the seams are all splitting - I bought the bigger size so it’s nothing to do with that, the quality is shocking. Very disappointed. Happy to provide photos as he’s been wearing it for 6 days and it’s not even super cold yet. Would not recommend if you want it to last more than one season.
The salesperson was very helpful and friendly also patient as I'd never used afterpay before and he guided me through the process, the jacket is made to the highest standard and very durable and also very lightweight it weighs next to nothing it's also very warm infact be prepared to wear just this jacket with a t-shirt as it's very well insulated and for the sale price of $189 very cheap! I'll definitely be making more purchases from Kathmandu they have quality products at fantastic prices and the atmosphere is great
Hi!! The jacket itself is very well made with the Down, love the shaped hood, but it is too small to fit a jumper underneath as my adult son is going to N.Z in July, and I wanted him to be warm as he has Down's Syndrome. Thinking the XXL would have allowed for this but doesn't. Hoping to return the jacket locally and they might have an XXXl I can exchange it for unless I can do this on line. Not as puffy as they used to beBut I was told they changed the feathers so it still serves the same warmth but just less puffWould prefer the puff to come back with more feather that’s what attracted me to the Katmandu JacketsI have an older jacket which is in good condition and it’s the big puff version which I prefer to wear more then the new one i just purchasedProbably won’t purchase anymore jackets for myself
Thrilled with the jacket. My grandson needed a new jacket as his was 4 years old and was getting a bit small for him.I purchased online and asked him if he could pick it up for me.I pretended that it was the wrong size for my partner. Then told grandson that he could have it.He was overjoyed and cried ( he’s 16 years old) so I know he appreciated it and think he wears it every day wether it’s cold or not.Thank you 🙏
I’ve had one for about 3 months and it is incredibly warm and comfortable. But be prepared to have everything you own that comes close to this jacket to get covered in feathers. I was told that they do ‘leak’ when being worn in but man, my car seat, sofa and whatever I’m wearing under the jacket at the time get absolutely coated in feathers. I’m not sure if mine’s an extreme case but I can even see the feathers poking out of the seams of the jacket. Hopefully it’s still in it’s wearing in phase and it’ll settle down soon.
