Travelling later this year and needed some ran protection; just in case and these pants fit 5be bill perfectly.
I was looking for a light pair of wind pants like some older mec branded made in Canada pants I wore out. These seem to be better quality, but a bit heavier and noisier. They have zipped pockets and leg bottoms and are generously sized so make a good outer layer. I tried size L in the store (Toronto) which were way too big for me (34 33). Plenty of space in the M which I ordered on line.
I own several pairs of waterproof trousers and they're all effective at keeping me dry in all manner of conditions; that said, they're all noisy, seriously noisy, the swish swish swish of material on material rubbing away really grates after a while. They're also far from attractive. Enter Kathmandu's Trail Head silent running strides, the best pair of waterproof lower halves by a country mile. Not only do these trousers keep the wet out and the dry in, they're also pretty stylish with it. There is no bulk, no loose fabric flapping in the wind, no swish whilst walking, they're like everyday trousers. I wear mine mostly over my Kathmandu strides made from recycled bottles but have worn them on their own too. of all the waterproof trousers I've ever owned these are ... MoreI own several pairs of waterproof trousers and they're all effective at keeping me dry in all manner of conditions; that said, they're all noisy, seriously noisy, the swish swish swish of material on material rubbing away really grates after a while. I went for a size down and they fit perfectly. They also pack away really well, there's barely anything of them when they're folded up. Best bit of Kathmandu kit I ever bought. Thank you!
Superb as always!
