This is the 2nd Pocket-It Rain Jacket that I’ve owned. The last one has lasted for many years and I’ve still got it as a backup. Amazing windbreaker. Light and comfortable. Wouldn’t be without one.

I’ve started a walking program and needed a good rainproof jacket. I have put the jacket to the test and found this is exactly what I needed. No wind chill factor and kept me dry.100% recommend

An excellent lightweight jacket that’s easy to bring along just in case. Kept me nice and dry in pretty heavy rain despite it having a fairly low weatherproof rating.

I purchased a new version of this jacket in June 2022 and noticed the quality of the inside lining seemed softer and thinner than my previous jacket which I wore extensively for 5 years. Yesterday the lining of my sleeve gave way around the middle of the arm, with no apparent reason and I’ve only had it for just over a year. I have been loyal to Kathmandu products for 10+ years but this is the first time I’ve been disappointed with the quality of an item.
This is the second time I have purchased one of these. They are a must have for your wardrobe when you don’t need a big thick jacket. So handy to have on hand with you incase it gets windy or a bit of rain.
Tried it out recently when it was really rainy and cold in Sydney. Did its job with the rain, it did feel a bit stuffy/humid on the inside though. Lovely purple colour! The length is a bit long so shorter people may find it not well-suited for their proportion - I personally don’t care for looking too good in the rain so it’s not a problem for me!
This is my 2nd Pocket it rain/wind jacket. My first was bought instore, on sale about 12 years ago, and the seam bindings were finally giving in, cannot complain. This new coat was ordered online and received promptly. A bit more expensive, even though on sale, but if it lasts as long as the last it will be good value. I keep it, in its pocket, in my handbag in rainy weather or when travelling. I hope the army green colour grows on me. Also a very effective wind jacket and my old jacket served me well when traveling in unpredictable weather in a few overseas countries.
I bought this jacket it does do what it says keeps you dry and is light weight. It’s not breathable.. the hood is terrible it has the smallest ties and since there so small you can’t tie them up so the hood is pointless
