Kato will manufacture an N-scale model of steam locomotive C59, as many as 173 of which were produced from 1941 to 1947 in a pre- and postwar period. This steam engine looks formidable with the boiler longest ever made in Japan and the long-sized tender that was designed for none-stop long-distance journey. Just before it was decommissioned, it used to pull express “Aki” on Kure line in its last glory. Kato will make this express train model sets as well. Features: Commercialized a new product C59 of a newly constructed national railway type steam locomotive. The product was commercialized at the end of the time when the Itozaki Institutional District belonged to the Itozaki engine district in 1964 to 1959. Fully reproduce the complete style of the longest boiler, large cab and large tenter. The coreless motor mounted power unit, which has a reputation for driving, achieves smooth and stable driving with a flywheel. Front headlights on. Tender's light is a dummy. The license plate is optional. Set “123” “131” “161” “162”. Head mark of “Aki” included. White painted on the run board side. Arnold coupler is standard equipment for the tender.
