This is my fifth hat of this type... hiked Zion, the Grand Canyon, major cities. On and off trail, this hat provides the shade and protection. Lightweight and easy to pack. Easy to machine wash. A great workhorse.... Show more

Fits my head; however, at the front of the cap, the fabric that most like serves as the forehead "sweatband" gets annoying. When shifting the cap, it will fold downward onto my forehead and then I'm having to shove it back up there under the cap (hope that makes sense!). I think I'm going to sew it to the underside of the cap so it stops flopping out. Aside from that, lightweight material, stiff bill, strap adjustment (no velcro - yay!). And - I'd hesitate to wear this on a windy day.... Show more

The color is not the same as shown in the picture. The care instructions tag stick out the bottom of the cap. There is no ‘D’ ring in the strap to attach a tether. When I lose this cap to the wind, I won’t be sorry.... Show more

Best hat ever
I feel compelled to write a review seeing MY FAVORITE HAT EVER is not doing well with the stars here. I have put this hat through A LOT. I?ve run miles and miles in it. Always stays on your head and the synthetic is so cooling and perfect for hot days. However I?ve also backcountry skied A LOT with this hat too. It literally never comes off my head in the backcountry. Going uphill if I?m cold, I put a hood over it. Too hot uphill? Nbd hat is perfect. Downhill? LITERALLY PERFECT because I wear my BD climbing helmet (I don?t remember it?s name, the light one pretty much everyone has) I never have to take the hat off. Helmet fits perfectly over the hat. Which, imo, is the best feature of this hat. No weird little nub on the top like baseball hats. Smooth and ... TLDR; coolest awesomest hat for literally anything in your adventure life... Show more

Leisure only.
I wanted to like this hat. But this isnt very functional at all past leisure. The strap on the cap, after only 3 weeks is all pulled and looped up and looks like trash already. The fabric that covers the bill is all stretched and looks like trash. The hat itself is not big enough and just kind of daintily sits on your head, and I have a medium sized, razor shaved head. After a hike I would rinse the salt out with a kitchen sprayer and hang dry. Nothing rough. I wont buy another, and have to question the sannity/motives on any good reviews...After further unspection, it would seem the kavu rep is bombing the review section with fantastical reviews....
