Kaweco - Classic Sport Mechanical Pencil - 0.7mm - White

Such a cute pencil. It is using thick lead refills. I hope I can easily find it when I run out. Otherwise, very interesting pencil. Brings me joy of writing with pencil/ hard pen writing back in my schooling year. Hehe.

I bought this pencil to go with my Kaweco Sport Classic fountain pen (also in white) and together I think they make a fine pair. The two of them side by side with their matching gold clips look pretty...sporty. I really like this little pencil. I find it quite comfortable to hold as I write, and the 0.7 mm lead diameter is perfect for me. The lead extending mechanism feels sturdy; the button for the mechanism has the gold Kaweco insignia on the top of it, lending a nice decorative touch. The ONLY beef I could have is the lack of an eraser, but that's really no big deal. I am very pleased with this purchase. Thank you, Kaweco and JetPens!

I absolutely love this mechanical pencil. It is fat and so is easier to write with if you have arthritic fingers like I do. The lead easily erases from my paper too. When I are writing with it, I find it helps to turn the pencil every so often so the lead stays even. I can not say enough good about JetPens company either! I ordered my pencil on a Saturday nite and got it a few days later. I ordered pens from another company in the middle of December and still no pens, no one at the company, no returned phone calls. I am basically out my money if not soon resolved. I am a writer, I don't need hassles on getting the very thing I need to write and JetPens understands that and you can tell they care for their customers a lot. Perfect for Fine Motor Control and Travel

I love this pencil! I have joint issues and struggle with fine motor control, but the short length and thicker body of the pencil makes it much easier for me to hold and helps me maintain control of my writing. Plus, it's super cute and fits in the pockets of my purse. It's the only pencil I've used for 3 years now and I will continue to do so!

Review of Kaweco Classic Sport Bordeaux Push Pencil

The pencil is quite small, about half the size of an average length pen. It's quite thick as well so feels different from normal in my hand. Once you get used to that it's absolutely fine. Feels like good quality and fun to use

I bought these pencils for my special needs sons. They have fine motor issues with their hands and need a short, chunky pencil to achieve a proper grip. These are PERFECT for that very reason. My oldest wanted a mechanical pencil for school, since that's what all the 'cool kids' use, but most mechanical pencils just don't work for him. This fits the bill!The only reason for four stars instead of five, is the fact that the lead comes out very quickly when you press the button on the top. We are adjusting to that.
