Absolutely love this bed! Bought two over 10 years ago when they were brown instead of grey for a Malamute and German Shepherd.So far they have survived 5 dogs in constant use, have no torn spots or tears (dogs love to try and dig through the beds), easy to wash and still perfectly usable after all this time.Highly recommend this bed! Have never bought another after getting this one.

I purchased this bed to put inside our dog crate and it is perfect. Two dogs (border collie and mini dachshund) sleep on it every night and we have no issues with durability. Washing it is no problem we just pop it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and then hang it on the line to dry.

The recommended sizes based on dog breed, at least for the medium size is misleading. If the dog curled up in a tight ball then maybe they would fit. Agree with another reviewer that the back is unsuitable to be marketed as a 'Verandah' bed. Would be OK inside. Bed seems fine - description is poor.

This bed is perfect for our Great Dane X who sleeps comfortably on the x-large bed all day every day.
I think that the example breeds to help you decide the size for the medium bed are not realistic. If they curl up in a ball then maybe... I agree with another review that the underside of the bed is unlikely to last long, disappointing given it is marketed as a 'Verandah' bed. Purchase a size up and keep inside.
A great bed for our St Bernard but if the cover is removable, why can't you buy new covers? It seems silly to have to throw out the whole bed just because the cover is worn out also adding to waste disposal
The bed is very squishy. My arthritic dog finds it very hard to get up from it.
I liked the idea of this bed for my GSD x and she did find it comfy initially. Maybe because she likes to do a few circles before she settles, the cover quickly thinned on top and the waterproof backing cracked and fell off on small pieces. She refused to use it in the end as bits of plastic would stick through making the bed uncomfortable. The inner mattress is really nice and I will probably reuse when I get time to make a new cover.
