My Border Collie dog Gordon has arthritis. After getting in the bed, he barely got out. Great delivery within 2 days. He loves his large bed.

Extremely disappointed

I bought a Kazoo wombat bed for the ease of being able to take the cover off to wash it, rather than getting a new bed each time it got old and smelly. I was happy outlay the $250 knowing this product would last longer. Much to my disappointment, after 30 days there was a small tear in a seam at one of the corners and now after 6 weeks there is another tear on the inside of the bed about 10cms long. This is an XL bed and my dog is 35kg, but by no means is he rough or would I think he would cause these tears. After some research, I don’t believe you can buy replacement covers for these very expensive beds. Unless this is a ‘faulty cover’ I would not recommend this product.

For the price we were left slightly disapointed.

Our Kelpie x American Staffy, 2.5 year old, dog Luna has hip dysplasia, two luxating patellas, and has already undergone one luxating patella surgery. Definitely not blessed with healthy joints and so a supportive bed for her little body is incredibly important. The large Wombat plush Bed was shipped on the 30th from NSW and arrived in QLD the very next day! Fantastic shipping time. I love that the size of the large Wombat bed fit her much loved crate perfectly. Luna instantly fell in love with the bolstered edges made from memory foam. I also love the stylish cover so I got in contact to query if the covers were sold separately as a spare would be of use. No reply. On arrival, I quickly realised that I had somehow misunderstood the use of memory foam. On arrival, I quickly realised that I had somehow misunderstood the use of memory foam. Only the bolstered edges are made of memory foam whilst the middle flat surface is made of a light "support" foam. We personally watched our 25kg dog sink right down on the internal foam and when I press down on the middle area of the bed, I'm easily able to feel the floor. So, skip to January 3rd and we wake to find a split in the fabric. I've never seen any of Luna's dog bed fabrics rip like that, let alone in such a short amount of time. She'd only used it for three nights at that point. I emailed the company, included photos, but 9 business days later and still no reply. Anyway, I was able to sew the split and we've not had the issue happen again. We also got an inner rectangular piece of memory foam custom cut to provide far better support and Luna took to that much better than the light internal "support" foam. This is a long review, I know, but our experience is simply a heads up to other customers about some of the bed details for the cost. Overall, do we love the bed? Yes, it's very cute and cosy for Luna but we've also had to be very forgiving with the fabric fault as well as the inner rectangular foam having very limited true support and needing modifications to include a memory foam topper. All fixable but also important for future customers to be aware of.

Great Bed

The bed is just as described on the website. Good quality, nice soft cover with supportive foam inside. The large size was perfect for my daughter's Border Collie. Delivery was very prompt. Thank you

My boys love it!
24 August 2022

We had the Kazoo Dog Bed wombat grey plush for our pet and he loved it. We got a rescue recently who was an outside dog and experienced this comfort for the first time and loved it. Had to get a new bed of the same make for our first pet again :) Only drawback is it can't be washed or cleaned easily.

Fantastic product! Washes well but easy to shake or vacuum clean. The pillow surround is brilliant. We have bought many dog beds over the years but paws - down this is the best. Our two retrievers actually prefer theirs to our couches. Got them one each in XL, but sometimes they share

Really happy

Great beds, all three of our cattle dogs love them. The smallest can snuggle up in the middle but the bigger boys rest their heads on the bolsters. Bought large for our three and wouldn't want any smaller.

Size up! Medium didn't fit my whippet
30 January 2022

This is a great bed for any dog, got this for our whippet Otto who loves it. The only complaint I have is that the size recommendations are wildly questionable. I got a medium and it wasn't big enough at all. The medium suggests that it will fit a border collie or cattle dog I'm guessing they mean adult but in no way is it big enough maybe for pups but definitely not an adult. Ended up giving the medium to my parents who have Maltese's and they fit far better on it.

The best purchase of my life
23 September 2021

My dog Daisy is a senior who suffers from arthritis and achy bones ( on medication for it) I have been after a good quality dog bed for a very long time for Daisy ( have purchased many over the years.) I can hands down 1000% recommend this bed. Daisy loves it so much I had to buy another one for the lounge for her. It makes me so happy to hear her snoring away fully relaxed.

Bed has not been damaged abused by my dog but it has lost all support on the bottom mattress. The foam used on the bottom supporting the dog has basically become completely flat after 6 months meaning he may aswel sleep on the floor. He has started to get up at night and chosen to just lay on the floor instead of use this bed. Worked great for 5 to 6 months. Not worth the money at all but a cheaper bed or go all in and get a Barney bed.
